  1. Not looked into it,but heard this lot carry air rifles, best get confirmation first. http://www.awexpress.com/ Thair must be loads of rifles being posted every week, only a few are being sent to Ireland....so its a bit of a lottey. I am the guy whos R10 is in Belfast,so unless your sending it to Scotland, where the risk seems to be greater, you should be fine.As a precaution,i would mark for road travel only on the box,and empty the buddy bottle completely.
  2. Darrin has my r10 mk2 just now giving it a tune up.Knows his stuff
  3. Whare are all these people that have diesling inconsistent twangy SFS tuned guns?
  4. I had a twink mk11 on my blueprinted r10.Had an ultra barrel on it.One of the quietist guns i have owned, with that silencer on it.
  5. My first hw97 safety button was a sticker,as above,a very small amount of oil on it,was sorted.
  6. Need to be getting that.Find myself being drawn to the hw99 SFS Imp,but i am a .22 man,and i am trying to justify getting another .22 as well as my sfs stage 2 tuned hw97 Just fancy a light tuned break barrel.
  7. Thankyou for the kind words Simon. I new you had been looking for one for a wee while. And at that price,i would have been pissed if you missed both of them. Dont forget the photos,of the finished stock. ATB Brian
  8. http://www.johnbowkett.co.uk/ http://www.xtxair.co.uk/ Darrin will also do the reg for you. https://www.(!64.56:886/TheRATWorks
  9. LSR normaly means LOSER. Not a fan of the hw98 then.
  10. Coudint look through the crosshairs and pull the trigger on a feral cat.
  11. A cautionary tale ..... Today I wandered too close to the event horizon and was caught in the irresistible gravitational attraction of Black Hole HW98. Fortunately planet 'Sandwellfieldsports' answered my distress call and offered the services of their rescue spacecraft 'Stage1tune'. Their help in lightening my wallet - thereby reducing my mass and therefore the gravitational force - meant I was just able to break free! I post this as a timely warning to my fellow intrepid explorers of the vast airgun universe. Like it...definetly a Treky
  12. Try here http://www.daileisure.co.uk/guns/airgun-tuning
  13. I would contact Tony at SFS,and enquire as to the price of a tuned 98 from them.Going by what they charge for an already tuned hw97,its not a great deal more expensive than a non tuned from elsewhare.
  14. If you can buy this chaps hw97 stage 2 tuned..snap it up.You wont get it for £330,but will be well worth it. The difference compared to a standard 97,is amazing.
  15. Once you have the charging gear mate, its just a matter of picking the pcp that suits you. Been thair, lost count of the amount of pcp guns i have had and sold.No going back now...sold the charging gear as well lol. I am enjoying shooting my hw97,ok i had to spend a bit on a tune from SFS to get it close to my pcp that i had just sold. Not disapointed, best decision i have made.
  16. Dont get me wrong.I am not all of a sudden anti PCP.I know me to well,i will end up buying another pcp one day.The only difference being i wont be selling a gun to finance another....my SFS HW97kt will be going know whare.
  17. The drop in tuning kits do make a difference, think i have tryed them all lol.Thair is a difference between a SFS stage 2 tune. My 97 is as accurate as my xtx tuned ultra.Never thought i would say that about a springer.5 yrs with a pcp, until a couple of months ago, when i got my 97.It twanged and kicked, was a little disapointed to say the least. It is hard to beleave this is the same gun.Dont need a pcp anymore. No more leaks and dive cylinder filling for me
  18. I dont know if Tony has experienced this or what his way round it would be.SFS work on some top end kit. I would trust them to find away in.I wish i bought my hw97 from them in beginning.Definetly the way to go.Why pay for a new hw77 elsewhare and decide later you want it tuned, and having to fork more money out.For what SFS charge for a tuned new hw97,its not a great deal more than an un tuned one some whare else.
  19. Exactly mate...its madness. Secondhand HW springers will be selling a lot quicker now.
  20. So pre A/T hw97 will go for a little more i would have thought....that just does not sound right.Looks even weird in print. Can see AArms rubbing thair hands at this no brainer of a decision My pre A/T HW97 is just back from SFS on friday, whare it was getting a stage 2 tune.Love it even more.
