  1. Thats a pity.Stocks are easily sorted, but if the over all condition, was a little shabby, you did the right thing. You can pick up a good secondhand hw100 for £525-£575,just ready to shoot, needing no work.
  2. I ment it will be easier to keep under 12ftlb mate. They have a habit of creeping over. I have owned 5-6 over the years. One i bought brand new was 13ftlb,and another was over with bisley mags, both were A/T...well for a short while anyway.
  3. Non quick fill, normaly means non A/T as well, another little bonus
  4. Get in thair, before he tells anyone else, what he is selling it for.I would be waiting outside his door with the readies..lol
  5. As above. Purchased from the States,as could not find one in the UK. Never been used. Surplus to requirement Price £30 Paypal payment, fees included in price as well as postage. How its fitted. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaCYZWHnQgA Cheers Brian
  6. I will take this,if paypal is okay for payment bud. PM your email please, for payment. cheers Brian
  7. I think google search as well as THL search function could help you make your decision hear.My self,i do a lot of of close hunting and pest control 15-25yrds,so prefer the knock down power of the .22
  8. Beats standing in a post office que, waiting to be questioned by some jobsworth, about your parcel,s contents
  9. Parcel Force 48hr,you will need to buy more insurance,as they only insure for a £100. Not even 100% sure you can insure it for more, heard conflicting stories on that one. Best contact them, and get told for sure. RMSD if you can keep your parcel under 610mm,give or take a mm,but chances are it will be flagged at the x ray machine and sent to Belfast for inspection, mine was for nearly 5 weeks. If you get on well with you local RFD ask him,if he wouldint mind posting it out using his courier. Me i would use Parcel Force 48hr....i have never had a problem with them. hth Brian
  10. I sent my hw97 to SFS just over 2 months ago,by Parcel Force 48hr the approved courier for air rifles.Got thair not a problem, and returned 5 weeks later without a hitch. Its the bloody idiots at the x-ray machine thats the proble.I cant help but notice the 2 other people that had gun related gear sent to Belfast, were all staying in Scotland,i am in Glasgow.Seems more like a scottish problem just now I cant tell you to post your gun it will be safe, thats a decision for you to make mate..For piece of mind, you could phone Tony and ask him if he has had any problems with peoples guns being held b
  11. Welcome to THL Rob. He probably means Parcel Force 48hr.That is one of the correct ways to send it.Used PF loads of times, never had a problem. I am sure your HW100 will be with you shortly. atb Brian
  12. Ah the good old days.I could never get one....my mum owed them a fortune,Think thair still looking for her
  13. Stick with the hw silencer bud.I have a Marksman on my chopped R10,its excellent. The Twink silencers, mark 1,2 x3 and marksman all work well on the R10.With the shroud thickness, they dont look to bad, when the taper is removed.Wther the marksman would be any better on your hw100 than the hw mod,i dont know.It certainly wont look better...its long.Maybe somone who has one on can let you know. Speaking of the Marksman silencer....Anyone know whare Darryl is? Brian
  14. Very busy shop.I got my hw97 stage 2 tuned, took 5 weeks, but they are even busier now,so depending on what you want done,10 weeks could be the norm now.Not a big wait,if you have more than one gun.....i dont,so was very pleased to get mine back, and it was worth the wait.
  15. My SFS Stage 2 tuned HW97Kt,with a silencer made by Matt1975,i think his username is,on the AF....Was very quiet. Just a little dull piston noise, and very little muzzle noise.
  16. If you cant insure it for more than a £100 using parcel force 48hr.Then RMSD is your next option, even then £500 compensation wont cover the value of a lot of air rifles. If you are a 100% sure your rifle is under 12ftlb,then worst that could happen using RMSD,barring a disaster,is they send it to Belfast for inspection. What type of rifle is it?.
  17. It wont be destroyed,if it is a sporting air rifle under 12ftlb David.Still it is a worry until they get thair Firearms Expert to look at it and okay it. They had my R10 and Marksman silencer for nearly 5 weeks. All was returned in tact,un molested.
  18. Understood every word they said  Dont understand the rabbit thow.lol
  19. Somthing very satisfying about making somthing from old scraps of wood you have lying about. Good job
  20. It certainly is Mike.I dont know what pellets Les is putting through it,but the accuracy i was gettig with H&NFTT 5.54 head size was amazing.I am the type of guy who has to sell a gun to afford another, but that is one gun i will regret getting rid of...but i am sure Les will look after it.I am thinking of getting a SFS Imp in the new year,as a fall back rifle. Was without my R10 for 8 weeks when it was at XTX then bloody royal mail had it for another 4 weeks,so had no gun....dont want that happening again. Need a stand by,plus if its a s good as the HW97Kt tuned gun....i will be a happy ch
  21. Whas taliking to a chap i swapped my hw97kt SFS Stage 2 tuned rifle to the other day,via PM on another forum. He was in the process of relieving someone of thair 4 month old BSA R10 Mk2 .177 for £350.He was not in the market for an R10,but at that price.....get it of him before someone talks some sense to the seller,or beats you to it. You got yourself a right bargain thair mate
  22. advertised elsewhare
