my mate was speaking to a man the other day who told him that his black bitch had a litter of 3 pups, 2 jack russells and a patterdale he said !
Sounds Funny, but that's exactly how they will be viewed by other people
Cheers lads, she's a tidy wee yoke, 98k and one owner from new. I'll look after her. Hopefully she does my job for me.
Nice one with the L200 lukey, hope it goes well for you guys
Woow! That top pic is like looking back in time for me, that could be their sire and auntie as pups in that pic. Moris and the black pup looking well. He's a wee cracker that smooth black
I was thinking the same Danny, hardly a tested working dog to start a working line with! What a kind of "work" are these irish terriers doing? Running after rabbits?
If there was working irish terriers then we would be discussing them along with wheatens and staffs on other threads, but there's not so this is just another pointless thread that's going nowhere
The reason why a lot of us irish lads, release our quarry is because we hunt to work our terriers! NOT to kill. Yes some people run them for lurchers but some of us only work terriers so its not about killing.its about the dog working underground and the dig.
I gave a young bitch ready to start to a lad a couple of years ago, the bitch has turned out well and is doing her job. Now he has a dog he wants to breed her too but it would not be my choice of dog to use. So he is gonna do the mating and the next time he will let me choose a dog to use on her. This was his idea. I gave the pup with no restrictions or rules. So I appreciated his offer
Get some noroclox, its for cows udders.I've had this problem quite a few times and it clears it up after 4 or 5 days. If ya can't get it, a drop of penecillin under the eye lid every day for a week should do the trick
Can't imagine keep dogs in the house. Especially after working them and with young children/babies in the house. No chance would I let them in. I don't know anyone who is serious about their digging that keep their terriers in the house
