    had a great day today me and 3 mates,first spot we dug my mate dee mac's dog, bodie,5ft dig to dog and quarry ,nice dig,next we had a 4ft dig in a forest to my russell sting, another good dig.then we entered patch,my other mates russell,and had a good 5ft dig to him.last spot was a bit tricky but we got it dug at about 6ft or so with sting again,so great day all round

    nearly had the dig of our lives today, we entered my russell,sting, into a huge earth,he soon settled and we got a mark of 4.5,YES!!!4.5 on the box,we waited for about a half started to dig,we sank a huge pit 10ft long by 7 ft wide,we got down adout 8 ft or so and then the bank caved in,we started to clear it out but the numbers on box started to move,shit!! ended up we dug the dog with 3 quarry bottled up, down the bank about 3ft,good result but would love to have finished the big dig. we moved on and dug my mates dog rocky in a little forest,very hard dog,the ground was bumping as soon as h

    we use mainly black dogs,the two russells we bought in,mine was bred locally, no special lines and the other we know nothing about his breeding

    the russell he is thinking of is my mates russell,dont think he knows i have a russell aswell,mine is going well but is not the dog that the other one is,mine is called sting but the one he is thinking of is patch

    had a few digs today but only got pics of the last one to my russell sting,nice vixen in cub by the look of in so she was realesed ,hopefully she ll have her cubs and we will get to dig them in the future.

    what if he turns out to be the best terrier you ever had? you will one day want to take a pup from him,kennell him on his own and problem solved I see where u are coming from however even if i kennel them separatly i still have to exercise them all together. It wouldnt be possible for me to keep them separate like that im afraid. I think the best thing would e to swap him for a bitch. dont you? i dont see it being a problem,i keep 4 dogs and two bitches,kennell them all seperate and have no problems

    to be honest i read every book i can too but frains just dont seem to be much good,but saying that i keep buying them!!

    that is a shite book mate,i agree with nuv avoid frain's books.Anything by harcombe,darcys, two books are good and even plummers "the complete jack russell terrier" is not a bad wee book,it was my first book many years ago and i thought it was quite good

    i have had a couple in the past,bull cross terriers seem to have a great season or so,very hard but then alot of them get sickened and start messing about walking out in the middle of digs,NOT all of them by the way before people start jumping down my throat!!! but lots of them turn into quitters. stict to your fells mate if they are doing the bizz for you. jmo
