  1. No i was just adding a little side comment about the marine life , sorry mate As to solid pics evidence etc, check out the wild boar link above there are loads of pictures & they are Crystal clear & the wallabies http://www.pbase.com/jpsbuk/image/58565986 Check out the picture in the New forest above? & i forgot to mention all the terrapins that have now colonized the UK, Did you watch video links i posted with the big cat sightings? What did you all think? its a hard one & as usual its not clear but do have a look & tell me your thought?
  2. I have seen platterpus in the thames & i swear i saw a yeti in the forest of dean! No mackem seriously to think there are no unknown/or unknown to uk shores species of animals in the UK is so closed minded. but thats how you see it fair play. What about the Wallabies in the UK? http://www.wildlifeuk.net/how-widespread-a...bies-t-356.html Or the yellow scorpion colony in kent? http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2002/may/12/r...kie.theobserver Or the wild boar population soaring? http://www.britishwildboar.org.uk/ These are all facts & none of these animals wer
  3. Mackem, your right they did not say that, but the majority of people ask me if my American Bulldog is a Lab? I have even been told he is a white rottweiller, Generally the majority of the public sadly have no clue about animals & nature & thats why the environment is the way it is today as most are not in tune with nature ( theres my little deep hippy part lol ) Also a quick one to the point made about if they were out there farmers in africa know etc, well alot of the farmers here are the ones complaining about the big cats so they are recognising there is some sort of cat problem
  4. Check out these videos ( theres a couple on here ) & see what you think? http://www.bbc.co.uk/insideout/yorkslincs/...sightings.shtml It could well be feral dogs that are attacking & eating the animals ( ie farmers sheep etc ) but we still dont have any evidence of even the feral dogs doing this so until someone comes up with diffinitive proof its just going to go on like this. Heres a question, if you found the territory of a wild big cat would you tell anyone if you were regulary seeing him/her with cubs etc because you know the minute you tell or show people your real
  5. Adult Eurasian Lynx & its even more than i thought, funny enough Check it out http://www.wolftrust.org.uk/faqlynx.html How big is a lynx territory? Size ranges from about 25 to 2,000 sq km according to habitat quality and prey availability. A male's territory typically encompasses a couple of female territories (to monopolise the females for mating).
  6. I am like you grant, i was quite the skeptic but just seen to many odd little things lately I would not rule them out. But the obvious question is what type of cats are "we" seeing & obviously this must mean then that they are mating & having litters so this then means we have our own native species of cat ( other than the scottish wild cat that looks like a normal pussy cat ) I think it would be totally visable to have them producing litters but then you have to think why the hell has no one got any real good proof todate of a large wild big cat in the uk. I have been look
  7. We got a couple of dogs & the largest one we got insured as we were worried about things like hip dysplasia etc, i think it started of when they were pups as about a tenner per month then when they got to about a year or so old it went upto fifteen quid there abouts, then when they were nearly three it went upto nineteen pounds a month then when they got to for they wanted twenty odd quid a month & yet we never used the insurance one.... so now we just put away twenty quid amonth for the future with the dogs as from personal experience & just my own it was a complete waste of time
  8. You should try the cough medicine first to see if that has the desired effect otherwise you could try adding probiotics to your dogs food as its better than using antibiotics ( i think personally as they dont kill the good bacteria like antis, but as your dog allready has the kc it may end up having to have the antis now anyway & you may just have to wait the five weeks unfortunetly but better to be safe than sorry. ( Probiotics has been magic for my dogs & it seems to help with most problems they have ) i add it as a supplement powder to there food & when my sisters dog caught
  9. Theres a guy on the Daca board who says his dog is grey/dogo & he has some pics of it too, i thought personally it maybe an ab/grey mix for obvious reasons but who knows & looks like a lovely dog regardless. Check out the pic, looks a blinding dog
  10. I got a Cammo collar ( the thickest width ) & the long thick black lead & i cannot say a bad word as they look barely used & trust me there used so its all good for Strong Stuff & i cant recommend your gear enough to people. Good Luck Rich
  11. would'nt be a bad signal crayfish trap granted it would need to be slightly larger... Interesting!!! I may try it & let you know how i get on Good quick & easy idea Good one mate
  12. Hi Jim I know, i need to get a camera anyway for the dogs but i may try & borrow one to take some pics of these, as like yourself i could not think of anything like them so they did have me puzzled ( when you think you know you really dont lol ) & there was me thinking i knew mushrooms lol the ring was a white colour & it did look like it came from the cap as it grew & the lilac was quite dull too from a distance i thought i was in luck as some were closed & they looked like puff balls, nearly Cheers
  13. Cheers guys Thats the problem with information on the net you allways have to take it with a pinch of salt, but it does interest me to read about subjects like this as a couple of years ago i had high homosysteine levels in my blood which was causing blood clots in my leg that can become dvt & fatal & i must have seen about five specialist from all different hospitals & none could help me & just said the best i could do was stick with the medication they gave me & that would atleast help the pain the clots caused, then my old manager ( who is abit of a hippy ) paid for
  14. my little sisters mastiff had to be pts today as she had cancer in her stomach & it got me researching abit today & i stumbled onto some articles by the above ( dr J Budwig ) She uses/used really simple methods in curing cancer by giving people/animals high doses of omega oils through flax seed oil mixed with things like cottage cheese & somehow they mix with the proteins in the cheese & when you eat this its supposed to help clear the blockages causing the cancer??? i thought she was abit of a nut, but shes been up for six noble prizes so she does deserve to be taken serio
  15. ok well i thought i was quite good with my mushrooms as i regulary pick my own ( pretty much weekly if mother nature allows )well today i was out & i thought i hit the jackpot as i saw from what i thought was a puffball. it was laying jsut on the outskirts of the woods in some grass with a few around now some were still closed and looked exactly like puffballs but then i notcied a couple of the mushrooms open that looked to have a lilac colour gills & white all over, & it also had a ring on the stem??? got me puzzled Sorry i dont have any pics as that would be e first thing
  16. Get some prozyme Probiotics for her....
  17. I would not worry to much about getting a "conditioning tablet" like others have said some good exercise & some decent food, that being said though if you really want to add something to your dogs diet, why not add a supplement like keepers mix or something along those lines? I give my two larger dogs glucosamine & chrondiotin supplements along with salmon oil & all my dogs have probiotics & apple cider vinegar but i dont use a "conditioning tablet" as such, i just give them some half decent dry food with some raw meats or some cheap cooked meats at the deli counter & t
  18. we have wallabies all over the uk now & large groups of them all the way upto near loch lomond, scotland & even monkey sighting close to oban, then you have some of the other odd creatures like Beaver, terrapins, even just the other week someone caught one of those snapping turtles whilst fishing & dont forget all the big cat sighting every year? do a search of the video link i post under big cat sighting of a video & see what you think? Check out this also in Kent http://www.yourcounty.co.uk/Kent51/strangecreatures2.html Oh & we even have scorpians colonizing a
  19. Have you ever wondered ( if you have a mutt ) what breeds went into them? I know i have, i have had a few dogs that i allways thought i knew what went into them but i was never sure. Well check this out. http://www.biopetvetlab.com/dnahome.htm Apparently they can give you percentages of what went into your dog, i am going to email them & see if they do this in the UK as i would love to know what is in one of my current dogs as she is registered a "pitbull type" but really it wont matter what it comes back as, as its the "type" they are concerned about but still would be interes
  20. theres another thread that has just passed exactly about this. what the dogs doing is a disorder called Coprhagia ( sp ) & most vets argue over the cause & reasons for doing it but to be honest i have had a pup do this before & as long as you correct them when your there & quickly get them out of that habbit its no big deal. do a google search on coprhagia & afew useful pages will come up Good Luck mate
  21. Mmm sounds nice, i got a couple more months to go & hopefully my 2 little campbell ducks will lay me some eggs... My neighbours think i am abit mad as we live in central London but have a garden & they fre range during the day with the dogs lol & at night i put them away, we only got them for my daughters 2nd birthday.. ( or so i told the Mrs lol )
  22. What a bunch of wank.rs, but like neil said above if this was not done the majority of the wildlife would be extinct & thats not half of Africas problems as millions of kids die every year from crap like the flu just becuase they cant afford vaccinations. Did anyone see the Loiue Theroix documentary ( i know i spelt that wrong ) it was on a couple of months ago & it was about exactly this & he spoke to farmers & these fake hunters & one farmer said " Africa is f****d" and you could see the tear in his eye ( i felt quite sorry for him ) Wan.kers though & they are
  23. I think you have be given some good advise here so far & pretty much just follow it & use some common sense & you should be fine. Generally that is just terrier behaviour but like others have said it could be to do with the dogs age & hitting maturity although yuor dog should allways listen to you & in some circumstances you could end up in abit of trouble ie a farmer shoots your dog or your dog gets mangled by a bigger dog etc so if you are that worried maybe look into an electric collar like these http://www.britishdog.net/gbu0-catshow/Rem...CFQEq1Aod_n2YfA &a
  24. Nice dogs mate, i could not help but notice the American bulldog, whos he out of if you dont mind me asking? Lovely bunch of dogs by the look of it anyway Good luck
