  1. What did I tell you about fibbing. So, you're taking home over 4 grand a week doing a bit of fencing, all them tradesmen are in the wrong game!
  2. You've been on here solid all day, the cheek. The dogs been out for a walk twice today and I'll take him out just before work. I'm working near your way tonight, Castleford, send us your address I'll come round for a cuppa. Lol
  3. I do, I just got preoccupied with Bonny Blue.
  4. You've had a left handed wank, I managed 18,000 steps the other day and I'd not let the sofa.
  5. If money was my main objective I would have stayed where I was mate. I took the job so I didn't have to work away again and for a better work/life balance. As I said, if I could get on with night shifts I'd love the job. I'm only doing about 30 hours a week when you take it account job & knock, the job is a piece of piss, maintenance graft is nothing like heavy maintenance graft, half the time we are just pottering about. Lol
  6. Are you Keepdiggin's Scottish cousin?
  7. Mate I tuck a pay cut to get on board with NWR. I was off track for ten years doing track civils, I'd just had enough of working away and when I saw this local job I took it. The graft, the weather, they don't bother me, I just detest night shifts, I'd rather do a 9 hour day shift than a night shift that's half the time. Lol There's different avenues I could try and take, SSOW planning, lift planning, etc, but it's dropping on a job when they become available. As I said, in our department there's patrollers that just do days, Mon-Thur and a Sunday when they're rostered that weekend. I'm g
  8. The second one tastes more processed, dead give away.
  9. He'll be on more, he did that through the books, so, he'll have taken home about 60K and then he has done his own jobs on the side, tha knows.
  10. So, after all the deductions for shoddy workmanship and all that, how much do you end up paying them to put up their fence?
  11. Sounds a plan mate, the railway is no good for anyone wanting a healthy social life, the sooner he gets out the better.
  12. Probably more sociable shifts as well, welding on the railway is basically all night work.
  13. Wide boats are dear as feck, sounds a nice and relaxing life when in retirement but can't see it being any good when you have kids that are still in school? What's the point in living in a boat if it's basically static?
  14. Can't you just go in the sea and live on the perimeter of the British Isles?

Bambo 3 is my favourite out of the series.
  16. Cracking job, the fencers really appreciate those cups of teas you made them.
  17. It must take some graft queuing up for the Rock & Roll this time of year. You'd be hibernating for a year trying to keep up with me on the shovel of keying hammer.
  18. I'm lucky to shop at River Island. Lol
  19. Lads don't do everything for free, where do you think he got materials from? Lol
  20. Not all follow the stereotypes, he doesn't take drugs, never has. I don't know his exact financial situation, I know they took out a loan for an extension and what not, but again, he isn't driving around in a new motor and buying Stone Island jackets for a grand. Lol
  21. You're not that simple are you? Do you think builders prices are static and they have been the same for 20 years? Lol
  22. He's not Irish, he has morals. No, he's not like your national hero McGregor, he's not a raving cokehead, nor a piss head. What do you think builders are on, trust me they make good coin on sites doing price work. And yes, he must be off his rocker, he should have got shut years back but you have to do right by your kids, he's not a tom cat. And what do people class as getting by, again, if you're classing going out socialising with the mates, going abroad once a year, away in the caravan on bank holidays as rich, then yes he's mega rich. Lol
