  1. What was your 7/8 saluki like pal?
  2. If you don't ask you don't get. Lol
  3. I can imagine mC asking Lady Knightellington for a lining. "Ey up, love! I know yer Saluki’s a right fancy sort, all pedigree an’ that, but I’ve got me a proper grafter ‘ere – a lampin’ lurcher that’s seen more fields than most folk see pavements. Best rabbiter I’ve ever ‘ad, picks ‘em up like they’re stood still, an’ it’ll run a 500-yard slip like it’s nowt. Tough as owt, fast as the wind, an’ it’ll work all night without stoppin’. Reckon if we put ‘em together, we’d get a litter wi’ both brains an’ proper gears. So what d’yer reckon, fancy lettin’ yer posh ‘un ‘ave a go wi’ a real worke

    Weed ;)

It's fascinating that weed smokers tend to have a history of believing lies and conspiracy theories, perhaps the substance kills or inhibits certain pathways in the brain? Psychosis due to substance abuse is quite common.
  5. So, that the best you've ever had then?
  6. How many coursing breds you had mC? Is that red bitch the closest you've had to a pure?
  7. Aftershave for me, I've gone back to my old favourite, Burberry Touch, can't be beat. Lol
  8. Ped snob lol. I've heard of Knightellington, didn't they originate in the 50's? Lol
  9. Yeah, that seagull didn't look anything close to a pure saluki. Lol
  10. Bet your armpits sting like fcuk!
  11. What were in the original coursing breds, saluki, greyhound, lurcher?
  12. I'm not sure a greyhound would do that mate? Lol A saluki clearly has hunting brains, isn't that all you really need when running hares?
  13. But why would they do that if the saluki is canine perfection for hunting game like hares, deer, gazelle? I do agree with mC in as much as men crossed what they had at the time, if the gene pool of saluki's was very small or non-existent then the natural step would be to cross with a greyhound, or a lurcher.
  14. Same here pal, I get bollockings for not buying clothes anymore, I'd rather buy a new book or something. Lol
  15. Show me the lines that are being worked over here that trace their lineage back to UK dogs from 1800's? I get your point about them being suited to the slop due to them running heavy going sand in Arab land but it's not because they have adjusted to our land through centuries of selective breeding. Lol I'd say most that are here are down off relatively recent imports?
  16. So you're saying that the salukis over here are down off the dogs from the 1800's, I doubt that mate? Lol
  17. Isn't that depending on the land though, would a pure pressure a hare enough on smallish land in the wet?
  18. That's why the coursing breds are better? They are more suited to our land, let's not forget, a saluki's natural habitat is not the slop.
  19. I get that mate but still you'd be having lads using them more than they do now?
  20. If salukis were the best then why isn't everyone just running pures?
  21. Before I had kids I'd think nothing of wasting a couple of grand on clobber when shopping, now I have a panic attack if I spend more than 100 quid, snides from Turkey all the way! Lol
  22. I reckon when I get one no hare in any land will last above 5 mins. Forget Paz Paz, I'll be the Don Mayfield of the coursing world. I've hand built a treadmill, got myself a push iron and I'm in that mood, come one come all.
  23. I can multitask. Lol
