    Hi Foxy it is basically made from horse hoofs clippings and the " Frog " the soft part in the hoof , then you then boil them for 1 hour or so out side then transfer the liquid into a demi~john and leave to ferment for a few months in the sun (toe nail soup :sick: ) be careful if you splash your self , you will be wearing it for weeks . I can say that the dogs around the stables can smell it from a long way off and if they get a chance to eat it they will , the stable girls lock thier dogs away when the Farrier arrives because if the dogs eat it they will be :sick: John Galway on this for

    this old chesnut again !!! scroll back through this section , I have my self giving enough info in the past & so have Moley & Mole Trapper & Tommo etc , sorry if I sound p**sed off , I lost a contract to a golf club due to a due to a rank amatuer under cutting me, he soon got the P45 , then they got a big multi national in to do the job ( gassing) now the club secartary is phoning me to come back , now 7 off the green,s have got Moles & thats not including the Fairways & rough, golfers not happy sorry to sound cynical , Steve

    A good comment & reply Trapper , right T25 get your hands in your pocket & pm Moley on this forum & see if he has got any of his video,s left , and only buy the British made traps ( try the Flatpackcompany . co.uk ) that,s where I buy my traps from , secondly you will need a probe/dibber (try warrenfarm.co.uk ) and when the rain is running down your back and soaking your under~pants and if you ask your self ,what the hell am I,m doing here? then mole trapping isn,t for you !! it,s a long hard road with a slow learning curve every job is different , almost forgot you will need

    Hi Tikkascot ; the video shows you how to set the Duffus/half barrel; scissor ; Talpex and Fenn scissor traps and how to fine tune all 4 of them;the video covers all aspects of Mole trapping ; I personally use the half barrel traps;type in www.the flatpackcompany.co.uk this is where I buy my traps from ; also have a look at www. warrenfarm.co.uk ; it will show you why not to buy chinese crap ; they also sell probes for locating runs and traps;best regards Steve

    Hi Tikkascot ; the best thing you can do is pm " moley " and buy his video ; the best £30 i;ve ever spent !! it shows you how to fine tune traps ; how to find connecter runs ; etc my mole trapping has improved so much " it beggars belief " always buy British made traps ; not chinise crap ; cost a few £;s more ; but worth it the long run ; hope this has been of some help to you Steve

    I can see where Donky7 is coming from with that design ; it;s so that the Fenn is level like you would set it in soil but in this case it is being set on concrete ;hence the ramps and floor ; so once the Rat has entered it;s good night ; the same with JohnB ;s design ; I think that both designs could be useful in feed sheds with concrete floors etc!! regards Steve
