Lurchers and longdogs are our delight,

Unheard by the keepers unseen by the night,

Resiliant,courageous,swift and footsure,

Cunning when running after the lure,

Hare fox and rabbit are taken with ease,

Eyes in the lamplight a scent of breeze,

Remember to thank them for work done so well,

Silently,efficiently,whilst running like hell
