My wife is a primary school teacher in a Welsh medium school, she has had several children in her class who are trilingual and one or two who are quadrilingual.

I was on holiday in St Ives 2 years ago, got chatting to a local cafe owner, she said they were struggling to find people to work in the cafe, especially when the schools and colleges were not on holiday, as there was nowhere for the the employees to live.

I'm a parent to 2 lovely children, i bet they will say later on in adulthood that i did not push them enough, although so far so good they have both done well academically, and i have been really laid back about school work!

I was given a fair bit of freedom, i was allowed to cycle to the river at night to go sea trout fishing, and i had an air rifle which allowed me to go shooting. Also went beating regularly. I do however want to note that the things i am complaining about are very very mundane compared to what some of you went through so i cannot complain too much. Cheers Aled

OK all i got some salmon oil off Amazon, been feeding it to Celt for 2 weeks, no idea if its made the difference, but we are walking our full circular routes again with tail wagging and a happy trot trot! Cheers Aled

Nice one Wilf, however One thing though i could not understand about him was why he never played amateur sport, because he would of been welcomed at amateur clubs with open arms, and we know physical activity is good for you!

Accidental double post!

Not quite the same as some of you but, a mate of mine could of played at a very high level of rugby union, football or been a very good medium distance runner had the talent and mental ability....he was also very very intelligent. Without a second thought he chose Oxford Uni in front of sport. He has done very well in life.

You could do worse than a pair of Altberg Grade 1 Army surplus, for less than £40 mine are doing season no 4.

Apparently supplements like Turmeric, Glucosamine, and Cod Live oil can help with joint stiffness.

Nice posts guys, really interesting comments. Me, i worked at the Eisteddfod last week at Pontypridd, so i was reminded of my culture.

Been sea trout fishing with great day light fishing conditions. Really sad that i did not even see a fish jump. Drowning my sorrows with a large G&T!

Those Look lovely Arry. If they taste as good as they look, well sorted! -
In my opinion yes, when he won the World Championship the 1st flag he grabbed was the Welsh Dragon, so yes as far as i'm concerned he's Welsh!!!

You feed good meat like that to the ferrets!! ...very few rabbits around here sadly, would love to harvest a few to combine with some home grown veg to make a meal.

I've been saying this for years he's a nice chap but not suitable for the job he has to do. But he's made some good decisions by not making the prince of Wales ceremony a formal one!

Nice one chartpolski, before we in Wales realised that Welsh club rugby could not finance professionalism , club rugby in Wales was brilliant!!
-
chartpolski yep i know the club you are talking about well, a mate of mine played for them. The Kiacs are a Welsh Cadiff Barbarians club played for them in 2004. The pi%s up was a good one!!
-
I think the context of your comments and the people around you counted for the situation chartpolski. I played for a rugby club in Cardiff, the clubs No 8 was gay, (and a good player) now his clubmates who had grown up with him could take the pi*s out of him, BUT if an opposition team member did, they faced the wrath of the entire team, the same went for our half Ethiopian 2nd row an our half Malaysian outside half! We stood together with our team mates big time. For us that was a Welsh rugby value, teams that sin together win together!

Strange how things pan out....this is year no 10 for me and my veg patch, in the past i've failed to get good crops with everything except....beetroot and carrots always got good crops from them, until this year. Dad now he had good crops of everything except...beetroot and carrots, guess what his best crops are this year!!! As an aside those old boys i talk about were the last of the National Service generation, and they grew up during food rationing of the WW2 and the following years, so garden produce, ferreted/lurchers/snared rabbits, fishing (there was and still is a v good angling
