  1. Stavross, i think that took courage mate so i think you have done the right thing well done you. My family have things in our past that i dont know about, i only found out recently that my Mam has two half brothers and sisters, which means i suppose that i have two "half" uncle and aunties! I would rather of known this 40 years ago! Well done you mate.

    ICE BATHS

    Done a cold plunge pool, and it does feel good after coming out. It could have its benefits, if we have swollen knees or heavy bruising we use ice packs to reduce swelling.
  7. I got a Ron Thomson one from Gary Evans for £20 last year. If you'd asked a few weeks ago i had a couple i was trying to get rid of, rescued from a skip.

  10. Smash was a bit of a staple back in my student/bachelor days, not a patch on proper mash though! Anyway good news the water came on at 3am this morning, woke the whole house up as the cisterns were filling up! So veg patch and plastic growing house has had a totally soaking early this morning.
  11. Planted the carrot and beetroot seeds, sadly our water is off so i have not been able to water the plants well this evening, and its been a hot one today!
  12. Further update: Lettuce, Potatoes, Onion setts, and French Bean plants in. Beetroot and Carrots going in tomorrow.

  15. Joint account for household stuff which we pay the same amount into every month, covers mortgage, bills, food and children's stuff. Then our own accounts for hobbies cars, nights out with mates, and foody quirks. e.g. my smelly Welsh cheeses! Cheers. Aled

    Who remembers

    Shell suit trousers with their moisture wicking layer were one of the best trousers to wear under fishing waders during warm summer nights sea trout fishing!
  19. Seen 3 adults and one baby rabbit this week, 1st time I've seen that many in a while!
  20. Interesting comments guys, as i was growing up, in my square mile nearly all the anglers i knew took part in another field sport or had done so in the past. A lot of us went on those marches and showed our support for Hunting. Its not the same now as far fewer anglers nowadays take part in another field sport. Cheers. Aled
  21. I love a fry up, and I love a pint but for some strange reason, i don't like them both together...no idea why!
  22. Planted the Tomato seeds, which are Bush Tomato, Black Russian, and Chocolate variety, i will be buying a couple of outdoor girl plants. Also planted cucumber seeds and French Beans. Its a start!
