  1. RIP Ricky, we've lost a good one, he was a keen angler, and a supporter of the Tackling Minds mental health charity.
  2. Great produce guys, got some good French Beans, and the first of the carrots, accidently picked a few onions whilst weeding yesterday, but they'll taste fine, beetroot has been good this year.
  3. Yep my wildfowling and rough shooting dog has really aged this year, he's 8 in November, hoping we'll manage a few seasons of moderate shooting.
  4. Got some lovely beetroot and potatoes from the veg patch today.

    IN-LAWS

Very fond of my In laws, they are thoroughly decent people, even if my wife and i had not married, i would of liked them. Reading some of the comments on here makes me realise i'm lucky. Cheers. Aled
  15. First dig of the potatoes a few less than i hoped for, but enough for a feed. Its a start.
  16. There was a single young one which we saw whilst walking the dog every evening, last week i saw it on the road heard us coming and ran in to a wall...yep mixy! However yesterday morning and this morning in another area, again whilst walking the dog i saw 2, i hope they are male and female!! Cheers Aled
  17. Used to go every year, although i was more into the fishing and shooting side of it saved money to go as i would spend a fortune on army surplus kit, and fly tying stuff. One memory i have is arriving early on the Sunday morning before 9am, and seeing a chap wash his lurcher whilst also drinking a can of lager! Cheers. Aled
  18. Yes he did i agree i love his songs BUT this song was written by Phillip Chevron! (The Pogues rythm guitar player)
  19. McKeever, if you go on ebay there are plenty of the old types of spinning spoons for sale, often at a very cheap price. Tight Lines. Aled
