Interesting comments guys, as i was growing up, in my square mile nearly all the anglers i knew took part in another field sport or had done so in the past. A lot of us went on those marches and showed our support for Hunting. Its not the same now as far fewer anglers nowadays take part in another field sport. Cheers. Aled

Wilf there i agree with you, I'd rather pay my £25 a season membership (which i do) of my local amateur rugby club , than pay to go and see the 1st class clubs play.

Nice reply Wilf, and i get it. Goly, i know families who knew they had a genetic twist within them, and have used technology to avoid passing it on to their children. I have no strong feelings either way.

Older dads linked to rise in genetic disorder - BBC News Is this of relevance? I can speak from experience, i was 35 when my son was born. I've got two children with Phenylketonuria (PKU) which is a genetic condition which both my wife and i carry. It means my children's bodies cannot process protein properly if not managed it can lead to physical and mental disability. Thankfully modern science meant we knew about it from birth and the condition has been well managed, both my son (18) and my daughter (16) lead full and active lives, very good academically and socially. Apologies for my ignorance, i know anybody can go sea angling without needing a licence, but can you do the same with a gill net? Cheers. Aled

Turned out OK, i should of made my teenage and early 20's easier for myself, and i would of had a lot more fun had i done so! However its turned out OK, I've got a good family, good friends, an acceptable working dog, access to my hobbies, and i like my job. Just wish i could discipline myself to lose that 1 stone in weight then I'd be sorted!!

No Arry, it was mash made by Mam with potatoes on Saturday morning.

As a child Saturday lunch for us as a family was a fry up with mashed potatoes and yes it did include a fried egg!...then my brother and i started playing rugby on a Saturday so it changed to a fry up at brunch time, so the food had time to settle before playing rugby!

Well i'm still doing Dry January, this is my 18th year! DIY issues vary with my beloved, depends on the location, although i do work better without her looking on, cooking however, is a different matter, i lived as a bachelor for 8 years and was able to cook pretty well,....apparently since i got married i have found out i've been cooking incorrectly for years!!

Went to see Paddington in Peru, with my daughter last Sunday! The big kid in me enjoyed.

Some cracking pictures, and locations. I get it big time, i love waiting for dark on a favourite sea trout pool, wildfowling or rough shooting with my dog Celt.
