  1. you can easily get full set up for 500 or less. My kit cost alltogether 480 that's a single shot ultra with hw silencer a decent slip and a hawks 3-9-40 scope all brand new from shop. Then another for the diveing bottle that was 2nd hand. You don't need to pay top wack for a good gun like the rapids. Ultras and such like perform just as good, mine has never let me down. So keep an open mind it's now all about haveing the most expensive gun with the best brand name, I know lads that go out and but 6-700 pound guns and can't shoot for shit. Paddy
  2. If it's your first gun I would go for a springer without a scope, by all means buy one but learn to shoot with iron sights and you will be a much more confident shooter. As for a gun I would say something like a BSA lightening on one of the HW range both are good makes and perform well. I wouldn't spend a fortune to start with if I was you. Good luck, any more questions just ask. Paddy
  3. There Rated qutie well on the airgun bbs forum and you lnow what there like. Richard Can't be too bad then ey. Think i'll go and have a look at one, if they are as good as advert says then they will be well worth £90. I'm yet to read a test wright up in airgunner though. Paddy
  4. You can get more than you think with £500. Have a look at the air arms range and the bsa's look around gun shops you might pick up a package with gun and scope, maybe even a diving bottle if your lucky but that depends on how much you spend on the gun alone. As for silencer get a HW one there about £50 but are ace. Wish our lass was. Gonna buy me a gun for crimbo. Paddy
  5. I didn't like it when it was all White when you first log in but Ive changed the skin now and love it. Bet it will look even better on computer screen.

    Horse Stolen

Travlers that do steal ponys usually go for traditionals, for trotting. Not in anyway saying it's travlers that take all stolen ponys
  8. Does anyone on here know of any good insurance companys that insure quad bikes. Especially if they are good with young riders (17) im after a road legal quad and need to find out about insurance. Cheers Paddy
  9. With regards to your references about 'poaching' most lads i know (me included) would leg it if they had strayed from there permission and had been spotted and im guessing many other lads on here would too. Its the MINORITY of people that don't leg it but decide to have a go who give honest decent dog men a bad name. Now i suggest you get your feet up and carry on watching panorama. Paddy
  10. I would deffinatly have had them if you has advertised them erliar on in the week, I'm in Rotherham and have just orderd 4 from a chicken farm in wombwell.
  11. Budump... Stripped the gun down today and gave it a good clean. Seems to be in good condition. Very accurate with iron sights. Just needs a chrono now.
  12. Air rifles left in sheds are a bad subject at the moment as a 10 year old boy lost his life through his mates finding one in a shed a few days ago in Wales. Im sure someone will be able to help you soon though mate. Just dont go putting it back in the shed for god sake. Yeah I read that in the paper very sad. It won't be going back in the shed, well it's more like fort Knox haha (I'm not saying that to defend it being kept on the shed. Cheers pal
  13. Just been looking on the tinterweb and by the looks of it, it was made by diana in the early 70's but this is only what I have gatherd from a diana model 78 and 79.
  14. Evening all. I'm after some info on an air rifle that our lasses dad has. He's had it donkeys years, was given to him and it's just been in shed at allotment but he's brought it up for me to clean up as there is some rust on the barrel. Anyway all the info on the gun is: seriese 70 model 77 made in great britain. Oh and it's .22 quite a short gun, not being cut down it's more of a carbine. I stick some pics us as soon as I can. Anyway if anyone has any info I would realy like to find out as much as I can. Cheers, paddy.
