  2. sorry dint get back to you lot earlier but they were sold straight away ( back in jan ) for the price i asked for them , and yes a lot of people like the mk 1 but i think hes tellin porkys about brand new mk 1 for 85 pound cus as far as i no they dont make them any more cheers
  3. ive now desighed a locking device on the of the trap , just wanted to be diffrent , what do you think ? it's soild when the door is down , tryed it plenty of times and never fails
  4. its welding that we joined it with and there's a few people that has pm me and says how neat it is , it's very heavy and the door is heavy and soild but i do know what you meen as it will only need a inch or so ... and stinky will be out , and as for selling it if had a few people with diffrent prices to sell it to them but dont know how much they go for so if any-one has any idea of what they make pm me thanks
  5. a mate of mine who i go out with now and again has that breeding , it's a bit big for my liking but very fast and very handy ( strong ) and has bags of stanima but thats the only one ive seen working so i dont no if any-one else has the same opinion about the breed
  6. thanks for all your advice the door system can be changed or adjusted i think still im not an expert on this kind of thing its twice as heavy as the last one but dont think its bad for my second attempt its not your eyes JOHN B it does look small in the picture do you think they would be easy to sell if i put a bit of the advice you guys gave me ? thanks loves2hunt

  8. yes mate the trap we have up at the chickens dont have one and its a balls ache to keep putting bait in , the farmer has plenty of the wire in and just wanted to know people thought cus we was hoping to make a couple and sell them
  9. hi i started of just like you when i was younger im only 21 but i found out the hard way and just stuck to me and 1 dog did basic training and ferreting , im no expert but get a good bond between you and your dog , i agree with BIRD 9 months old is a perfect age to start and if you are anything like me when i first started you'll be hooked on it , ferreting is a great way of starting a dog off cheers loves2hunt
  10. we had some wire given to us by a farmer and thought we would make a trap out of it only the second one we have made but its a good strong trap and just wondered what people thought of it

  16. we have 2 bull xs brother and sister 18 months old out of vikkies dogs , good all-rounders bin out for a walk today and look what we found , well-done vikkie for a pair of cracking dogs
