  1. He said that's your new business mate? Haven't you just been travelling the globe scouting rubber mines?
  2. Are they real or faux rubber mate?
  3. You're scared to leave the canal unless McGowan & Minter hold your hand. Lol It sums him up perfectly. Lol
  4. I gathered that mate, they must love their steak up there.
  5. Durham is two hour away you empty tracksuit. Back in your barge Pugwash!
  6. On further reading they are allowed to work in exceptional circumstances. Still, this should and could be brought in whilst they are all waiting for their applications to be processed IMO.
  7. It's not only charity work mate, they can fill roles in which there are shortages. Come on mate that's not my aim. It wouldn't take much paper work to offer them incentives to work.
  8. As I said, make it optional, nobody is forced to do anything and everyone is happy. Just to be clear, you do know that asylum seekers can already work in specific circumstances, so, not quite the obstacles as you suggest.
  9. Mate, they get free access to the NHS as asylum seekers, primary & secondary care. It would make no difference if they were carrying out community service or not.
  10. I never had to touch a weight working on the railway mate, from 18 to 30+ I put some right graft in doing track work. For the last ten years though I did lineside civils which is much easier, I'm now back on the tracks doing maintenance, not the pure graft day in and day out like the past but putting some decent shifts in more regular now. But as you know, when you start pushing 40 you're not quite the same as you were in your twenties, it pays to start exercising mate even at your age.
  11. Mate they are housed here for months and even years before their claims are processed. They would receive treatment like any other worker, no? It's an avenue worth exploring, with the incentives of extra payments make it optional, no forced labour required.
  12. And who the f**k has got 40 bison in Durham?
  13. Don't give them more ammo, they'll be knocking on doors begging for spunk samples of their cats.
  14. TBF mate I don't think they need to be deemed an asset to the country to be granted asylum? They receive a pre-paid debit card, it wouldn't take much effort to offer them more payment should they opt to work. At least get them out doing community service, better than being stuck in a hotel all day & night.
  15. I don't understand why asylum seekers housed in hotels aren't allowed to work or at least do community service, our governments are absolute morons.
  16. No mate, I'm not exactly cutting at the minute, as i said today was my first day at the gym in a few months.
  17. Yep, but this is the reality of the situation. Those accepted for asylum can and do work in the NHS.
  18. I get that mate but if you're in a cut, whether that's through diet or added cardio, it makes It difficult to progress with those sort of 5x5 routines. I do think I should do more cardio, but then again I'm often doing 10,000 to 15,000 steps a day with work and walking the dog.
  19. You never know, Starmer might suprise us all and it could be aimed against Muslims and their treatment of women.
  20. I was doing a 5x5 mate, I didn't mind it but it's not really a program you want to be doing if you're on a deficit, it states you should do it on a bulk. I got weighed today after the gym and I'd lost a bit, down to 105kg.
  21. An illegal immigrant is someone who arrives here and doesn't notify the authorities of their arrival. As for asylum seekers, if they are granted refugee status then they can go on to work.
