    My dogs mainly beddy/whippet x beddy/greyhound and done me well over the years. He's a very keen dog and never had trouble with opening up, was a pleasure to train and retrieves well, likes taking rabbits off my mates dog and fetching them back aswell. He's about 23 inches tts. I keep him inthe house and he is good with other people, dogs and ferrets. Only injeries have been stitches due to barbred wire and some swelling and brusing after he ran full pelt into a grain trailer draw bar after a rabbit. Shot and retrieved

    I grew up round there. Wish their was a few muntjac about when I was kicking about. That shoot that recon's has them is not that far away neither.

    Heard a few reports but not seen any myself yet. Was out beating with the dogs saterday on a new shoot in the north east and they reconed that they had muntjac was hopeing to see a one but no luck.

    Would prefere mine not to jump a fence when out lamping and chasing a rabbit, lots of cliff edges and nasty land owners on the other side of the fence on some parts I go. Want the dog to jump a fence or gate when asked tho. Depends on the land you go I suppose on this one.

    My beddy x has done me well over the years, semi retired now tho, might take him out with the ferrets for a couple of hours on saterday morning. Shot and retrieved hare

    Checked at Bishop vets (wilsons) today and it had'nt been handed in their, only a pure greyhound been handed in lately. Best of luck.

    Is that it, 10000 rabbits, my lilltle dogs had three times that and I've only been out twice this season.

    I made this one for my two, but like someone said it gets addictive so I'm gonna build a run on the side or make a bigger court style one this summer. I made a maze in the middle between the two levels

    All the same dog Taffybull, apart from me black and white english pointer in a couple of them with him. Only two dogs I've got. Tempted to get a pup to bring on, but think 3 dogs in the house might be a hastle.

    He's 8 now, but seems to get more and more achy and stiff than he used to after he's been out for a good run.

    Then again, you might of been right, type of land you would run on could make a difference to the type of dog you get. If running on heather you might want a greyhound cross rather than a whippet to get that bit extra hight.

    will be heather and hills Think Rio might have meant what game i.e rabbits, do you want to run a dog on on. As said, have a good read on hear, plenty of different and capable breeds and crosses to choose from, depends what takes your fancy. Best of luck.

    BeddyWhippet x BeddyGrey with a hint of collie in their somewear. Just about retired now, He's never seen a fox so can't comment if he would or would'nt. Very keen dog tho, would run all day/night if you let him. Had photbucket open so got carried away with the pictures
