what does it mean work well? how many foxes? how big he is?

after nearly 2 months of recovering from injuries i was forced to dig my dog. what to add he did once again great. when we dug to him he was mixing with the fox holding her tail and leg. fox was dispatched. no injuries great day out. Mato

i undersand they are a very aggresive dog and they need plenty of work i can give it the work it needs and what a dog to start my own line from i do not understand why y wanna have jgt? we have plenty of jgt here and i found patts, beddies... much better. Jgt where made for foresters, they need a lot of hard work, fighting foxes, badgers with one purpose try to kill them or die trayin, fightin wild boars in hard conditions, blood trckin, retreiving....i cant see such a work in GB or Ireland. y wanna dig to foxes, bolt them not to kill them by terrier, y re not allowed to work big ga

i ve seen good jrt and smooth fox terrier? why to cross them? fox terriers are really sharp, mixers.

Got a border terrier that goes to ground to foxes and retrieves duck and geese from water but no bedlington sorry. Just goes to show that the dog will do its best for you if you get the training right. It might not win any prizes but it depends what you want from your hunting! my pure beddy cought few hares, i dug 24 foxes with him and badger, he retrieve ducks and i use him as hound on wild boars and sure on blood tralis. but y all have to realize beddies are Terriers and the only thing they must do is fight quarry in the earth.

Mat, I'll get some pics up of the dog pup soon mate..!!! thnx mate the dog is ok and may be in months or two hell be ready to work. i hope i can breed the bitch with one of y dog pups next season as i need to raise up the bitch pup from that breeding and use the dog on it as he is working terrier i wanna have in my yard. i just need to improve the coat and may be have the males under 40cm. all the bst lads

i m from slovakia and we have here a lot of jagt. great dogs. i m hunting with bedlingtons, patterdale and Czesky terrier. if they re working no difference between breeds. may be one, jagt do not use brain. i saw jagt which could not handle certain situations in that case we use my beddy. each to their own.

Great pics matulkoh. What are those jagterriers like to hunt to, are they hard or sounders most of them are extremly hard i know one old breeder and he told me just once in my life my dog bolt out the fox and i didn t got a gun. i never take a gun with me and no spade. good jgt have to be able to kill a fox, and i keep just good ones. mato

I ve got an idea of workin beddies if somebody try to improve a breed and keep original exterier and mentality I wanna have small spanable workin beddies with stronger skin and good coat. Liver dogs wont help me. SWJ Tag is 100 perc. beddy, somethin which i think d help me to improve breed. i d never use dog from non workin parents, unproved even if there was Rambo 100 times. thnx

Dave it s hard to take photos of living badger, with dog hanging on him, y try to split them because if badger make a grip on dogs jaws or have enough space for his front legs then y have a problem. By the way it wasn a bullet between his eyes, it s bite from a dog and it s just a scratch, badger was finished by shotgun caliber 12x70. the point is i heard that he worked his dogs, the old one, The dog is dark and small, 38cm. i need small dark and pure bred bedlington. if y can help me i ll be gled and if y ll be somewhere near to Slovakia we can go to see my friends in Austria andwork y dogs i
