  1. hi, i know bavarian blood hound which was tracking red for 10km 2 times he crossed the small river Turiec, go straight to the fields with a lot of cows and bulls, dog was following the track, he didn t care about animals which was very close to him. this is not a situation for terrier, teckels are much better on the track than terriers. y re right that good terrier is better than bad b or h blood hound. terrier won t focus on track when living animal cross .the track even worse when he see it
  2. hi mate, first of all terriers are not the dogs for flushing reds, sika or fallow, for hunting such a quarry y used the dog just for tracking the wounded animal, terrier can be used for short trac, up tu several hundreds meters on relatively fresh track. specialist are bavarian and hanoverian blood hounds,well trained dogs can follow track older than 48 hours and tracks which can have several kilometres, those breeds are aible to stop a red, fallow or sika. her in slovakia or beter to say in continental europe we have special test for those dogs and only those who passed them can be used for

  7. hi mate good result...do you use the beddy on the badgers aswell if so how does it go? y can find some pics in Working bedlington topic, but yes i use them on badgers, dogs is very sharp and always fight the badger, y ll can see from pics, bitch is barking and mixing, she is not so sharp but very good on big game no injuries till now.

  9. been out today with lads, some fresh snow so we decided to go out andchceck some earth, as my dog still home and recover from badger work so i decided to take just beddy bitch Aja. we found fresh earth in the field,relased bitch and wait. few second later fight just started, we took a time, just hope for quick bolt. 20min later nothing happend, so i located Aja andstart do dig, she was baying and mixing all the time, 15min before we reached the AJA stopped barking at the time we reached them, she ame out. we tried another 2 dogs, nothg happend. my friend found bit of fur, then more and more, i

  15. probably i was the first person here to have something else than BF, it s now nearly 4 years, i tried several top kits, spoke to bf and pieps, ortovox, mammut.... Bryan was only open minded person who was interested and got a lot of question, he decided to bring alternavive to the market. i started with Mammut BarryoxOpto 3000, never let me down, than Pieps DSP same box as BF good kit, all kind of boxes from Orthovox all of them did thier job, All y lads have to realize one thing, this boxes were not find for DOGs, they are for rescuing people, Orthovox came with small transmitter for hunter

  19. he never left his quarry, when we reach them them the dog was holding the badger, badger tried to escapegot, but the dog didn t give him a chance, it took us 15minutes to separate them, badger got heavly bitten neck, broken nose, and badly bitten both rear leg.
