  2. cant agree more! nobody likes wasting £ but this locators been worth every penny ! what y say on that y can mammut switch to analogue and can find y dog more than 15m in ground, the signal can t be changed by roks, cables, or metal as it can be when y use digital. All rescues services use mammut because of his digital and analogue mode. im gonna test it and i let y know.
  3. be sure that he grabs it, he try to hold him on place, the boar is arround 160kg, 4 y ago we shot 250kg male boar, show me a dog that can grab and hold it on one place. he was doin great this year he made for us several boars, the biggest was 160kg. this one made on his own it was twice time havier than my dog

  7. That's bollocks talk in fairness Burnie69 - he has to guarrantee the collars seperately - the UK trading standards would have a field day with him - can you imagine a car dealer saying the guarrantee on your car is void because you bought your seat covers from someone else The transmitter can not in any concievable way be affected by the receiver whatever make it is. If you want to avoid the hassle just tell them that you bought a seperate collar for your dog and one of the other lads has a 'proper' box. Post here if he goes looking for a serial number and surely someone will PM. We'
  8. B&F makes just collars, the receive box is german PIEPS DSP, they don t make any changes on receive box, it wont work properly if y use B&Fcollar and buy PIEPS DSP(same one that B&F sale by them self) on ebay? why? y have guarantee on on collar and on receiver too.
  9. y re wrong b&f receive box is german PIEPS DSP which is runing on 457kHZ freq. is international freq. for avalanche receivers and transmiters, there re several firms, and they have to run on same freq. because alpinists use pieps from different firms. go on B&F web and find freg. and than go on mammut web and find freq. SAME, y can buy for 67pounds all accesories from B&F and than on ebay receiver box, i m gonna get whole B&F package for 220eur
  10. or why not to buy a Mamut receive box which is even better than PIEPS DSP, y can cut the price an go on 220 pounds.
  11. buy a separate parts, collar, transmitter and pieps in shop with avalanche locators or on ebay

  15. hi [bANNED TEXT] y right, but there are still workin, irish for boar hunting and welsh still use for digging, but not in uk, they got great patts and lakies and hybreds so they are not force to use and recreate old breeds, problem of glen of imal terrier is the he was a specialist for badgers(now diggin them is forbidden), able to kill them, he is too huge for fox diggin, so probably there is no place for him as a workin dog. please corect me if i m not right about glens

  17. on 25th of december i went to see my friend, we planned to go hunting on 26th on wild pigs, it was a beautifull day with lot of snow and blue sky, after we got together with other hunters, the hunt could start, at the begining dogs found the trail of fallow deers, they started to course them, after making a huge cirle dogs pushed them straight to us, but no shot cause we were on a boar hunt, after another 20 minutes my dog found another group of fallow deers, unfortunatelly there was one young deer, 7months old, not fast enough for my beddy, result can be seen in galery, though it was a baby i
