Do I NEED SGC for just using clay shoots

Thanks mate just wondered how the laws were set out these days my air rifles are all locked up as would a shot gun would be just dont want to get hooked in to another sport I love dearly lol thanks -
Hi could you tell me if you need a sgc for just using clay shoots? Ive fancied from time to time aving a go at the clayshooting at the game fairs and competitions. But felt silly asking if you did needed a sgc before entering the comp. Also visiting clay shoots sometimes I get up an fancy a shot at some clays but again felt silly going there with out a sgc thanks in advance as some one said you dont know till you ask many thanks.

Have a look for a club local to you mate if your real interested look for a breeder who hunts his birds as you could be a his next client and ask if you could tag along with him for a bit I hunt with a harris hawks and it took me yrs to get where I am today with one thing and another. I use to shoot ferret hunt with my dogs everything todo with hunting lol it cost me my relationship. Like when got my first ultra it took me months to understand an master my set up with it the right scope mounts scope pellets camo gear togo with it and then lamping kits tried and tested. Well done mate great how did she adapt from day to night was she footy on your glove or anything did you notice any difference in her behaviour at night I have done a couple of night time feedings with mine and think he could be the same on the hunt with the lamp e seemed calmer to me in the night how about yours mate?

hi, how much would you sell your falcon for if you was to sell? and do you have to use a loading fimble with the falcon? Would sell falcon for 400 ono and the loading fimble comes with it but have a double 8 shot made from alloy comes with scope and silencer.

Call me greenhorn if you want but back when I was a kid I had 2 patterdales 1 border and a lakey and they where all round dogs on rat rabbit and fox they wasnt bothered they worked just as good on any quarry had "some smashing times" wish I had a camcorder then to show you all but just wondered do you use specific dogs now for spcifec vermin. Am getting back into my dog work now after getting a house sorted and settling down my gun and camo gear is all sorted. Now I want ferrets and a lurcher and terrier and hawk.Hope you lads can advise me in due course whith certain advice.

HELLO MATE What cal are you shooting ? I found bisley pest controls a good pellet to fire in point .22 aswell as logun penetrators mate hope this helps.

Hi I have the falcon praire .22multi shot and use airarms diablo field or rws super hollow points there both just as good as the other hope this helps.

I use a 2d cell maglite mounted on my scope using bisley scope mounts the 2dcell battaries last around 3hrs but have a second pair "if required" I have found this quite a good set up and theres no hassle of wires or batt packs on my person. I can only comment from experience and find this bit of kit compact and precise to my needs I use it on my dedicated rifle for lamping the BSA Ultra .22 and have had numerouse results from it as I say I can only comment on what I have used and this suits me to the ground youy can have a look if you like on www.freewebs.com/nightcrawlerslodge/ in my guns se
