  1. Young Lil, with any luck she'll follow in her Sire's footsteps for me.
  2. Sounds good fun! Do you run many to ground, and if so how often?
  3. Sounds like good fun SS, how many dogs do you run in the pack and what types?
  4. I bet you're popular with the neighbours?, are the landowners happy for you to run your pack on their land SS? Wouldn't have a chance to do that where I am, if it wasn't the farmers playing f**k it would be the 3 mounted packs that cover my area!
  5. It's amazing how better you can feel after a good walk out in the peace and quiet of the countryside.
  6. Boris that's terrible, how do you expect the poor beasts to sleep in there?? Great kennels, credit to you, I love to see lads that put the extra effort in for their dogs wellbeing.
  7. The only real bad one I've had was on a Boxing Day dig to a fox a few seasons back in an empty man made lagoon. The mark was 16 ft but it was all sand so easy enough digging, half way down my mate asked if I'd be ok to carry on while he went for drinks etc and to meet another lad to bring back to help us, I said no problem, I carried on alone while they were gone, once they came back we werent far from breaking through, broke through not long after and as I got down on my knees to look up the tube I heard the lads shout and as I stood up half the dig collapsed right up above my waist and they
  8. Looks same shed to me, just a pic of both ends from inside.
  9. They look to have taken their looks from their sire Starting Out, my mate use to have a similar looking dog to the father, almost Bull Terrier like.
  10. Good job Myers, BUT is it a shed or just another junk storage place??. All that stuff laid about would drive me mad!
  11. As long as the dog stuck to the job is what matters, BUT I agree, it's still very warm. A night of drink the evening before never helps.?
  12. Always been the same, I know(or knew) plenty of terrier and lurcher lads that went out as soon as the crops were cut until October-ish every year. Fine weather hunters with no respect for dogs or game. The crops being cut isn't a barometer to go off as they fluctuate each year depending on the weather, this year they were cut as early as I can remember.
  13. Love the pics mate, how do you get that effect on the photos and what camera do you use?
  14. I loved the old Patt BBS site, some real characters on there with a lifetime of knowledge. All the Irish and Welsh lads with regular digging posts on, always enjoyed Lahosh and RedRocks posts too.
  15. I was on in 2005, forgot my password and changed names in 2007. Its a decent site, met some good lads through it, a lot of the knowledgable lads have left because of idiots unfortunately, also the usual gobshites come and go, such is life.
  16. Sorry Terry I was being sarcastic, as I was saying on another thread, you look at some of these places and think 'what good outcome is there going to be from a dog going in there?', if the best is a fox bolting, then I'd think it's best to leave it there.
