  1. My problem is, I have the Galaxy and though it's OK, I think the pics taken on Iphones are better and I like the security of an Iphone, but my mates that have had them say they're shite. So I might just havto take the plunge and find out for myself. I haven't been offered any phones yet, my contract is up soon and last time they said I could have any phone I wanted so probs same deal again.
  2. I appreciate all the replies BUT I'm still none the wiser?. Basically I want a phone that is secure in case it gets in the wrong hands, has a good camera for when I'm out and about and is pretty easy to use. I don't do any social media. Also, one of my mates said I won't like Iphone because all the photos you take are stored on Icloud, is that true also and if so does it affect anything? Cheers
  3. That's pretty obvious though isn't it Apache? I mean, who would want to repeat a mating if the first litter were crap?
  4. I like the security of the Iphone aswell tbh, in case I lose it or whatever. I suppose the next question is which model? Is there a big difference between them?
  5. I'm due an upgrade soon and fancy a change, I've a Galaxy atm but don't rate the camera on them compared to Iphone photos I see, so I fancy one of them, but all my mates reckon they're shite. Anyone help?
  6. What is it you don't like about them mate? I've only ever heard good about them tbh.
  7. I wouldn't say that's the job they're for though Shane, they're to stamp on and break up ground whereas a long handled graft is to keep the sides nice and straight. I wouldn't like to think someone was bashing around with a long fork where my feet are. lol
  8. Depends how tough you are lol. Decent weight in the bar will help.
  9. Digging bars or T-pieces? They do two different jobs. A good pinch bar does the job for digging tough ground, but I reckon if you had a roundmouth, a sharp tooth and a long handled graft there's not many places that you couldn't tackle without the need for a bar.
  10. It's how we all dream of a pup starting, hope he carries on for you in the same manner. ?
  11. Two half brothers to the old bitch that me and my mate used to have.
  12. I've got to agree, these dickheads that drive the land and leave game lying dead and rob farms etc are shitheads. Not sportsmen, and I agree they need to be dealt with. But what doesn't sit right with me is the lads that do their own thing, some of it on the wrong side of the law shall we say, and think all is fine. But then as soon as someone is doing something that upsets them they're straight on the phone to the Plod. It's double standards and happens in all country pursuits, you get the hunts that think every fox is theirs and slate all other types of hunting, then the riflemen
  13. I find it quite shocking that all this stuff is being put on a Hunting Site by supposed 'Hunting men'. Talk of calling the Police and having dogs shot etc is not on at all IMO. To me it's the same as being on a dig and someone calling the Police on you, to the lads that say they call the Police etc, are you saying you're crystal clear and certainly must do no regular digging?
  14. From what I recall they were talking of first hand experience.
  15. Is that not a case of rose tinted glasses Glyn? I know of two lads that went to his owner's yard and seen the dog and went away disappointed and also recall of a few lads on the sites a few years back saying he wasn't a good digging dog by any stretch..I've got no axe to grind as he's in the pedigree of my dogs.
  16. Well spotted. If only you'd had a better camera would have been a cracking photo.
  17. It's fitting that Spartacus should crop up on this topic, by many accounts he was bitchy looking and not a great worker BUT many a good kennel has him in the pedigree of their present terriers, so does that throw all of our theories out of the window?
  18. Who knows the answer? Every different man will give a differing opinion going on their past experiences. Work them right, keep it tight and cull the shite. (Good name for a book that)??
  19. Them black and tans really take my fancy, lovely pups?
  20. You won't beat Harcombe's terrier books for an enjoyable read, easy to understand and digest.
  21. Running Dog Addiction was the game changer IMO, all the rest since are much of a much. The Hare and the Swift Hound is a really nicely presented book as is Of Dogs and Deer. If Darcy did a terrier book in the style of Dogs and Deer it would be a book most would buy I'd imagine.
