  1. Isn't it about time a book was released using this title to overshadow the silly book written by Frain, I'm sure Darcy could get a few lads off here to add their input...
  2. Good pics of a good dog there p***y, it also highlight's what you're saying, if you look after them they'll look after you...
  3. Good going again p***y,can't beat a good hard dog...
  4. I think a dog that gives its all will lose a good bit of weight when they're being dug to, so I like to keep them well fed but fit with it, for example we had a good 4hour dig to a black dog I have the other day, one the way to the earth a mate commented that he looked a bit overweight, but after the dig every rib was showing so I suppose they need that little bit extra...
  5. I'm from Darlington, not heard of any dog thefts around here for a while...I know the names of 'supposed' dog thieves from neighbouring towns and also there's gypos/pikeys in abundance here so we are kept on our toes continuously...
  6. rabbit hunter that dog is far older than 4-5 months, look at his teeth, and the dogs pads are not that wide, pups 4-5 months old would have wide pads , and narrow legs. ive got no reason to lie mate, i got it as a 6 week old pup on July the 25th...
  7. A pup I have on at the moment, 'Stan' 4 1/2 month old, bred with one thing in mind...
  8. welcome markbrick, sure you will fit in....
  9. welcome markbrick6 YIS BLUE
  10. good post dee mac and very strong looking dog, similar to one i have here, after a tough dig taking a breather...
  11. It's nice to get back to the thread, nice dogs Mack, if it's the same lad that used to be on the Patt site, how's that black bitch of yours doing? BLUE
  12. I have a dog here and a lad I dig with has a dog also, theyre both out of Downsouth's 'meg' bitch but to different fathers , they both entered early and are still being dug to, never seen 'meg' being dug to but the lad who I do most of my digging with who also got me my dog speaks highly of her. Its a shame the 'Chaz' x 'Meg' mating never 'gelled' so to speak, but i think its fair to give the pups a chance to show what theyre made of before any culling is done, after all there's nowt but good blood in them... YIS Blue
  13. i dont mean anythink by this lads but why would you want bull blood in terriers like patts and lake's. the patts ive got are off they heads and dont stop,no revesre gear. just car'nt see the point. You've got a good point Skeet, patterdales shouldn't need the bull but I think some people believe it will add size and power to a line of terriers if they're producing small dogs that might struggle with 'heavy' game, however I think that when bull is added to a strain they can lack in nose IMO...
  14. glad to see hes still going well bud,im going back to that type of blood next time i breed meg which will be her last litter wasnt to pleased with the last breeding i did with the chaz dog,the wheeler stuff works well with meg Its a shame to hear about that mate as it's good blood in that Chaz dog, good luck with the next mating, which dog are you going to be using? PM if preferred mate...

  19. the choc and the black dog look real hard types, so just wondering whats their age and what their working styles are. uru what qualities do you look for when selecting a stud dog for your bitches can the mods read members PMs Meg started off her career being very hard ,stupidly i gave her too much to young as she was all i had working after we had a few failiurs and 3 decent dogs stolen,by the end of her first season i nearly ruined her luckily after the summer off she came good but working much steadier saying that she still knows how to put yhe preasure on and you only ever
