    Sorry mate I wasn’t having a personal dig at you, just at the general gun type men that lift the gun out the cabinet now and then and go and obliterate whatever they can. Another thing I hate is the saying ‘If you shoot a fox then 2 will come to it’s funeral’ which is a regular one I’ve heard from rifle men to somehow justify the numbers they shoot.

    If it’s really your passion then you’ll have dogs regardless of what obstacles are in the way. Whether it be missus, kids, work etc etc. The comment above about guns not needing walking, feeding etc is what really makes me dislike the gun crowd’s mentality, there’s no effort or dedication involved when compared to what genuine dog lads put in day to day.

    At the end of the day, it’s all well and good us lot talking of these people as if they are some sort of hero. But look how they ended up, one died young and the other ended up a penniless pisshead in the gutter. I’ll stick to the quiet life with the family, terriers and earning a crust??

    Probably not, he’s more the quiet type, but just because someone stays out of all the shite doesn’t mean they’re not entitled to an opinion.

    Mentioned this again to my mate today who was in Durham at the time, he said the boyo in that prison then was Paul Sykes from Wakefield, he said even the screws were scared of him.lol

    My mate was in Durham with Lee Duffy and said he was a bit of a gobshite and a bully about the place. Like has been said these types are in every town in the country, it’s nothing new.
