  1. You fancy TSA dont ya?...............lol I'm 29 and been with my partner since i was 16. I've been with him that long partly because i still haven't seen anyone who i fancy more. TSA isn't bad looking, but he's not as good looking as me Are you a bloke Andrea. I know one thing for sure. Your not Ratboy
  2. No, it's about treating people with respect. Someone has an idea and everyone makes out he's after making a few quid. Those types of comments are nothing more than slanderous insults, that’s nothing to do with disagreeing, that about questioning someone’s character and integrity . Do you not see that as a problem? What??????????????????????????? where in my post are you mentioned or even hinted at??????, honestly it makes me laugh. Anyone who comes to the conclusion that someone's out to make money, with no proof, nor without knowing that person they are discussing, are making insul
  3. I think she's talking to you Tom..... But i do think your a sweetie tom, passionate about your sport and your idea's, so why wouldn't i think your a sweetie???? i may disagree with you on this topic, but that doesn't mean i disrespect your idea's

  6. Tom, i have no idea what TSA is proposing, rather i was guessing as to what i thought he mean't or wanted to include. Why would sticking 20p into a donation box amass such wealth, you seem to think it will????? Tom i'm not trying to back anything up, how can i when i don't know any more than you what's being proposed. My only issue is when people are insulted for having an idea.

  8. eddit to add, i write my post with a heavy heart because ultimately if we have such feeling against those who are involved in the sport, and trying to make a difference, how can we ever unite? It seems to me it just a word that gets tossed around without ever being practiced. how very sad
  9. Tom, i really don't want to turn this into an agruement with naming names and throwing dirt. A few people get together, have a bit of fun, train their dogs and invite new people along, all informal and all for fun and to help those who need it, Nothing sinister. You think i'm naive while i think you’re cynical, for what it’s worth, as soon as i read this thread, i knew people would come out with comments similar to the ones that have been written, which is precisely why i don’t want to get involved with this scheme. I do however, support what TSA was trying to do, and i wish him all
  10. Sweetie i may be wrong and may be later the Sporting agent can either agree with me or put me right, but I’m under the impression that Chris isn’t wanting to replace organisations already in place nor create a new organisation that will be a carbon copy of those organisation’s, rather, i thought it was more geared toward people meeting to discuss their sport, learn about other area’s of field sports. I know something similar to this is already done by several people i know and for the last few years it’s been a great success. People, particularly those who are new to this sport, ar
  11. I'm interested Christopher. I think it could work, i believe idea's only fail when people lack enthusiasm, however, i wonder have you any thought as to how you would set this up? Particularly in regards to it being a charity organisation? And have you any idea's as to what will be included in this organisation or will it just be like minded people who meet, talk and support each other?
  12. Well i don't know about what pin manufacturing is, but if you want to know more about the theory behind "The division of labour", you should read the works of Karl Marx and Frederick Engels, particularly, Marx book “The Communist Manifestoâ€. It basically means the rise of capitalism to increase productivity within industrialised societies. It's all about the bourgeoisie’s making profits, while the proletariat’s struggle to gain equality. Does that help?????
  13. I think feeding scraps from the table, providing there's no known toxics in there, is very good for a dog. I have alway been led to believe that chicken is great for a dog plus gentle on the belly of sick dogs, providing small bones are removed.
  14. I'm sure some of these have been mentined but this is my ( small ) list: Raisins- Are proved to be toxic to dogs but the number depends on size or age of the dog. Grapes- As little as 3 or 4 can kill a small sized dog or pup Chocolate- milk chocolate is not as toxic and dogs can tolerate larger potions but dark chocolate, coco powder and any kind of chocolate cake etc is toxic even in small amounts. Onions- can cause problems in dogs, how toxic they are is still an argument vets can’t agree on, however most dogs will have loose bowels after eating onions or food that includes
  15. Dr Dave was very funny, However, the other ones.... Naughty, naughty boy
  16. didn't expect that ending.
  17. I agree ESS, Akita's are known for being very hard to train but i know nothing about your breed Woz, so i'm not aiming my post at you.
  18. Well, How rude what about us from the more northern area's of say, manchester, liverpool and such like are we not wanted ???? I was going to put my best party frock on and everything, but you can sod off now :11:
  19. Why?????? shouldn't we be proud of being working class? i know i am. And i enjoy showing people who consider themselves as being further up the class hierarchy, that I’m as good as they are. So why should anyone be ashamed or insulted about belonging to the working class? After all, Britain was built on the backs of the working class. No you muppet, her parents are'nt working class because they don't work. Mother has six kids with five different men, does not work. Father unemployed. The polite term for them is underclass but i could think of a few others. Saying that it's not t

  21. Edit to add, using the spay collar or the beep on the E collar, are, In my humble opinion the better option.
  22. This conversation reminds me of a chat i had with a trainer not so long ago. I had been having some trouble, like this, with my dog and not knowing much about training collars i asked he’s opinion. He said to me “ yes Andrea, i think a electric collar is a very good idea, Put it on your OWN neck, and every time the dog disobeys you, give YOURSELF a zap, because in the end, your dog is doing what you have allowed it to get away withâ€. Sound advice from a great man, and i never did need an E collar. The fact is, we all make mistakes with our dogs, whether we are new to training, or a old h
