  1. i know what your saying and sure it happens, but it aint the end of the world,i dont show dogs but its part of the fun seeing how serious some folk take the shows, we always went for the glad i dont go these days. It's a shame for all the folk who have travelled and paid to get into the event, surely they deserve a fair crack of the whip. I've seen the judging at the lurcherworld events myself on a few occasions. The last show i attended ( didn't take the dogs) i was telling the mrs which person (not dog!!!) was going to win... With Mally on this one, I did the same today. I c

I was originally planning this breeding as a few mates wanted small rabbiting lurchers so some are already reserved. Looking for £150 each

  8. Anyone fancy giving me a pup??? Got running dogs but have mates that do a bit of pest control with their terriers and have an empty space in my kennels so I'd be interested if anyones got a pup going free.

  10. Funny you should say that because that's exactly what one of em did not too far from where I live in Stoke. Apparently she killed a bloke then took a leap off a bridge onto a dual carriageway http://www.thisisstaffordshire.co.uk/news/Breaking-News-A50-bridge-jump-woman-appears-court-murder-charge/article-843590-detail/article.html
  11. Dovedales a nice place for a walk along the river dove, also try Carsington water, its a big reservoir but they've got a sports centre and cycle hire etc both aren't too far from Ashbourne. If you're into Motorbike racing theres a track at a place called Darley Moor wiith a meeting on easter monday (5th) again not far from Ashbourne (LINK TO DARLEY MOOR).
  12. If you want a good read about something that may be about to happen (nowt do with the hadron collider) have a look at this Link. Basically it says that something bigs going to happen in space pretty soon between our solar system and a dust storm that could cause electricity and communications to go a bit hay-wire. Imagine the chaos this could cause if it's true???
  13. There's already a lost dogs section on here matey, if you look on the main page it's in the general section. Hope this helps also try contacting doglost and registering it on there. Hope you get him back soon.
  14. Just checked the pics and don't think it was that dog, it was definately less feathered and a different colour, it was lighter on the fawn bits and a lot darker on the dark bits. The lads definately didn't look like travellers but did look like a pair of chavs as described before.
  15. Me and Matt will be there with the pups we had off you. Which day you going?

  18. I watched a collie cross put itself in a perfect position between the wall and the lure, and because it didn't follow the line of the lure was deemed the loser
  19. Here's a link to a story I read recently from a local newspaper about Stoke's old days including a dwarf vs dog fight:- Clicky Link Ignore the link here's the part from the actual book:- The dwarf, however, was not to be stormed and defeated all in a moment. Once the ghastly fight began, there was a dire fascination in it; and I now noted closely the combat. The man was on all fours when the words "Let go" were uttered, and, making accurate allowance for the length of the dog's chain, he arched his back, cat wise, so as just to escape its fangs, and fetched it a blow on the crown o
