I've the rossi puma in 44 magnum, with the octagonal barrel. Touch wood it's never skipped a beat, it my favourite rifle by far and have put a fair few hundred rounds through it. Good luck chap

That's a decent number that, good effort chap. Have you bought a pole or have you diy'd one. Always wondered if you could get screw ends to put on pole from somewhere and make your own.
