  1. A Teckel will do just that, small bit of digging work and ratting,,, tracking up. Bushing. Universal really. They have the heart of a lion... I say to mine if you could look in a mirror and realise what you are you'd have a culture shock. I've got a litter of 5 2 week old and i've knocked so many people back that didn't have a clue. Can't just throw a dog down a hole and expect it to have a do' and be bomb proof. One guy expecting it to be down the hole after its first jabs. Told him where to go as you can imagine.
  2. Putting more hound into them would probs make them hunt on more, more ideal for pack work and vast open land. Bushing, ferreting i get on with my pure teckels perfectly fine and never had a problem, i've had them on the odd occasion drop onto a good scent and take off but managed to get them back. Although i know of a teckel that was found 15 mile away still hunting scent! must of been its breath. I've just had a litter off pups of my working crew
  3. can't fault mine will go in and let off if ones at home. As with anything use your head and don't put them in something massive or you'll be digging through to following morning and in the daily news paper. Collar is a must, but it would be stupid to send a dog in without just incase they get stuck.
