  1. I have a similar trap. It works much better in the winter around here. It seems there is a lot of feed during the summer months. I just started baiting it but, I am always looking for other ways. Scott
  2. OK so I am admitting my ignorance here. I am new to this forum. Is a moderator what we call a silencer? If it is do your laws require a special permit?
  3. Are ladder traps effective in trapping pigeons? Scott
  4. I did a search using that term and found exactly what I needed. Thanks for the input here. I will report back with my findings. When I ask building managers if I can trap pigeons on their roof around here then practically beg me to bring a trap kind of funny. Works for both of us. I am just looking at some other methods.
  5. I am going to be placing it where there is a lot of pigeon traffic. I will make sure that I am careful. BTW, I am extremely impressed with this site. I stumbled upon it via google. Great FIND!!! Thank you!!
  6. No it is not against the law here. I will be monitoring this so that I do not have dead pigeons. I use a pigeon trap frequently but, as stated just looking at other methods. The trap usually requires baiting for week or two.
  7. I am always looking for different ways to trap feral pigeons around here for dog training. I was told that a person could tie a bunch of snare to a weighted metal grate, through down some feed and then there would be a bunch of pigeons caught in them. Problem is I have no clue how to tie/make the snares. How do you make a snare that will catch a bird? I know they use a similar method for catching birds of prey for falconry. So I am looking for some direction here (get to admit my ignorance). What do you tie the snares with (material) and how do you tie them? I will be monitoring this a
