  1. Anyone still run anything close to this line that HBG bred? From what I seen the line were a strong and racy type and not heavy at all
  2. Is your black and white dog down from Remus stuff mate? Cheers
  3. Got you. Pups should have a good turn of speed then and have enough bull to be game enough for most things. Hope all goes to plan
  4. Is that your black and white dog your using mate? The bitch is around 1/4 bull 3/4 greyhound then or however the percentages would work out?
  5. Just wondering if any of you lads still work lurchers from this line? Had a bitch out of Remus (first x bull greyhound) years back. She was 3/8 5/8th, lovely racy thing, pictured below. Very game and an easy dog to live with. Anyone else have any pictures of theirs? If I could get my hand on something similar I'd be a happy man! Cheers
  6. Crazy amount of game that, I'd be lucky enough to get the same number over a few years let alone a weekend!lol
  7. Too cheap and obviously just wanting rid of them asap. Each to their own.
  8. Cheers mate, not what I'm looking for but they look half decent wee pups
  9. What make up is the bull greyhound you have mate? I've got it in my head that if I went for a bull greyhound lurcher inside of a SBG then a 3/4 grey 1/4 bull would be better for daytime big edibles. Have seen some bullxs a bit too muscle bound so a strong racy type is what I'm ideally looking for.
  10. An all-rounder for me would be a dog that will take all game but excels at some jobs better than others. I personally would want something that will handle bigger edibles more than other jobs but will still get into other stuff when the opportunity arises. I'm probably asking to much!
  11. Sounds like a great mix mate and makes sense what your saying. You run similar dogs just now? I did run a saluki bull greyhound a while back that did well all-round but did lack the drive that I seen in just bull greyhounds for real drive and determination
  12. That's the second time someone has called me Greb?? Not sure what the idea is but no me lads
  13. Got to be something coming upI know it's a long shot but needing to line a pup up later this year from parents doing the job
  14. Cheer lads. Yes I think the stamina added by the saluki is a good addition and running style too that's been mentioned. I did run a saluki bull grey for a couple of years about a decade ago and he was mustard on the deer but was not that keen on teeth although he got involved just wasn't that committed to them. I think the bull added makes the difference no end. I'm open to either sbg or bull grey but just needs to be from parents that are doing big edibles but I know most dogs would do anyway with either of those crosses. Just to find a decent pup is my challenge! Let me know lads if any
  15. Right lads interested on your thoughts on racy bull greyhounds as all rounders? Can't decide what my next dog should be. Was initially considering going down the saluki bull greyhound route but recently seen a 1/4 bull 3/4 greyhound and also a 3/8 5/8th bull greyhound and really liked the look of them. Nice, strong and racy. Looking for a good all-rounder but something that has a brain too and knows when to use it. Mainly lamping and daytime for bigger things. Cheers
  16. Couple cracking looking dogs mateYou may have mentioned already but are they line bred racy bull grey's? Out of any particular stuff?
  17. Out of interest mate, which of the 3 runners would you say ticks all the boxes for an all-rounder and puts the most away bigger quarry wise? You have a nice selection of dogs there with slightly different make ups so do you have a favourite if you don't mind me asking?
  18. How's he made up out of interest mate. Saluki/grey x bull/greyhound or more saluki in him?
