  1. Thanks She's 4 years old, entire, kc registered, small for her breed, good natured, house trained, travels well. Some video of her, excuse the crap quality, she stops to wee a lot too as she was in the middle of her season when I took the footage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMdyThBxLTM
  2. We're after a new home for our Viszla bitch, must be good home for life, she would make a good beating dog, used to gunfire etc, hunts but doesn't point, house trained good with people and other dogs, retrieves but is slightly selective, ie only if she sees it down. Not expensive to the right home. Please email druimmuir@yahoo.co.uk or pm me if interested. Nic
  3. Sounds advice from Ess and advice that I would second, no bitch should be left to whelp on her own, and guess your friend has now learnt his lesson. Hope the remaining pups survive Nic
  4. I can also vouch for Kev and his dogs Oh and if he's up to more mischief just send him up to Scotland, that should be far enough away !! Nic
  5. Yup I agree with the others have fed it, and rate it highly compared to other tinned foods out there Nic

  10. I bred the lab dog Rogan myself, his sire was FTCH Kenue Fir of Leadburn and his Dam is Spaceage Cracker (bred by watty darling) and she's by FTCH Craighorn Bracken (2001 champ winner) . Nicola
  11. Went out this weekend with the purpose of taking new pics for the website, didn't quite work out, howling gales and snow on the saturday 8O so not ideal camera weather  tried sunday, windy still but very bright light so the colours are a bit over exposed, thought I would share a few anyway.
  12. Nice looking bitch you have there, nice kind eye Nic
  13. Whatever dog you choose make sure it's at least hip scored and eye tested, also optigen tested unless you are having your bitch optigen tested, also most good stud owners will expect your bitch to minimum be hip scored and eye tested, I refuse any bitches to my dogs that don't have those 2 requirements. Good luck in the search Nic
  14. Thats a nice bitch line you have there, I would 2nd the suggestion made by ESS. Another to consider would be the b/w dog listed here :- http://www.willclulee.co.uk/menupage.htm Kenmilquin Flyer, a nice going dog and in keeping with your irish bitch lines
  15. sorry to hear that mate....how was thre viz bred was it predominantly work or show lines? theres a fine line on what can be classed as dual bred or working bred im lucky the line of vizsla i keep and breed have exellent drive and ability... remember there are even labs and spaniels that fail... you cant condem a breed because of one failure.. im sorry things didnt work out mate... Thanks gary Yup I know what you mean, unfortunately there is too much show blood on her pedigree, the natural drive and instinct just isn't there, she's great as a beating dog, flushes etc, not bothered w
  16. I tried and failed with our Viz bitch, and am now looking at finding her a nice pet home, or maybe a beating dog... I am going to stick with labs and spaniels Gary you should be very proud you have some cracking dogs there !! Nic
  17. Yup Steve is a belting bloke and Shell a top girl !! Nic
  18. the remote launchers are great and IMO more use than the hand held ones as they can be hidden out of site and fired by the remote control so dogs are less likely to become conditioned to their use and they have much more use than the hand held ones, ok much more expensive but depends what you are after out of it Nic

  20. money or no money the sire and dam should be compatible either way
  21. crossing the breeds doesn't guarantee anything.... Nicola
  22. I have myself a 10mth old patterdale dog pup and would like some recommendations on some books for a beginner to keep myself right with him or would be interested if any members have some terrier books for sale. Thanks Nicola
  23. Errrr can't see how anyone with health tested labs and spaniels with generations of good breeding behind them could ever be threatened by someone breeding a pack of mongrels...... Good luck with them, but I just hope folks see them for what they are as they are false advertised at the moment, you have already admitted you have no idea what they would be like as workers..... Nic
