  1. Heres a better pic of my rough one out of barley and quest two years old now fast and clever with it
  2. Ivomec will work in certain breeds but one jab is nothing to go by id wait till youve had the course in the meantime as much quality food a garlic capsule and a good tonic like brewers yeast will help get the dogs immune system stronger to fight it on its own. If its not too bad dont worry all the dogs ive had with it have beaten it with age. Id say it was definitely hereditary and worse in black dogs not something youd want in a line as it must drag them down the treatment definitely does.
  3. Is there any statistical proof that 1 inbreeding could cause heart defects ?....the myths surrounding inbreeding are never based on fact....whenever people talk of inbreeding in dogs they compare it to inbreeding in humans...and its so unrealistic its just not worth comparing.....ive seen dogs bred for generations from close families that are very inbred with no physical problems....the important part is being extremely selective on the individuals you breed from.....a father daughter, even a brother sister mating from scatterbred or crossed dogs is inbreeding yes,but is nowhere near as tight
  4. too close you could get all bad genes from such a mating and the chance of heart defects and giant pups.
  5. One of the best matings imo is father daughter, mother son if you want to tighten your line as long as there not close bred in the first place. Worst close matings is brother sister matings seen some bad pups from such linings.
  6. Hope its not kidneys could be him being full of bile if its yellow mate it needs to come off try mashed potato same as youd do for yourself next morning after a good dollop of mash the bile will come off. Its a bit easier on the dog than the washing soda and works just as well

  10. Anyone hitting a woman is bad enough but this is sick poacher or keeper doesnt matter anymore with anti like that about i feel for the lass. Id tie em up and gag em and bury them head first in a rat warren so the jimmys could take there time eating em alive. I only hope theres not worse to come as has been said theres too many misinformed people out there with nothing better to do I hope she gets well soon and it doesnt put her off doing her job its a big thing for a woman getting attacked like that and can scar for life.

I can remember the first one my old brindle dog saw hed been taking fallow about a season when i was walking round a circular wood dog went into stalking mode and kept getting lower and lower then he just lay down. I went wide of the wood to see what had occoured and hes looking at this maqnificent Red in full headgear it done the old dogs head in smelling like deer and looking like a horse he just lay down not more than ten yards from it i think he knew it was out of his league.
