    Dead right Shadow weaker by far I don't like some of the crosses that's been added and how the pure breds are now not worked I have been in a position I could run weekdays and weekends off that's still short of what would be needed back in the day as you know pal ? I'd say you are a Million percent right on lurchers less durable these days the show lot the racing lot etc have added to that factor I'd say

    I got no pics of Queeny tother was Tolney lane dog owned by Hughie that went to most bitches I ever saw a dog go across bless him ? Spewers was run all over lincs and Cambridgeshire was a fiver a dog to enter and poaching of course I was into bigger things back then but knew of lads out running it I used to meet the lad that owned ringo who won it three times on a patch I did for sport quality bitch ?

The original coursing lines were a proper mish mash and not too houndy pure wise I said before greyhound probably not needed I should explain I think first cross to greyhound has a lot to offer whether to deerhound bull whippet Saluki or collie it's using too much I have found doesn't sit right .. Would love to see some more Saluki grey hybrids bred as a line like the deerhound grey lads do think if done right they'd hit the notes half cross to half cross and on and on ?

    The last bit yes ? I honestly regard greyhound blood a difficult issue I have to say if breeding a mongrel line then yes but is there need for greyhound today with what we have already ? Bad feet lack of stamina no field sense even when brought up for field and not track from what I've seen personally. I will say this though only two pure bred sighthounds I have ever witnessed survive in the wild for a good few months were both pure greyhound ?
