He sounds just like my nan. Came through god knows how many cancers, heart problems, joint problems etc etc etc. She is gone now but with the amount of fighting she did I wouldnt be able to stand up after a day of it. I wish all the best to you and your dad and your family. Hope all comes good

Best thing to do is mate, walk your net out and stick both pins in with lines tight. Then pick up net and hold top line whilst walking down and batting at the net with your other hand to even out netting. Walk up and down doing this until fairly even. Then pace out every 10 yards and tape the top line to the net which will keep bagging fixed. dont worry about bottom line though. Then set your pegs once net is all even and should be a job done good luck

:icon_redface: come on now young lads what harm were they doing . there not out robbing old granys . your right there they doing no harm at all just hunting rabbits like the rest of us do only they now not got a ferret or nets soome one has stolen them noone stole it mate. Sue just picked up after them. We dont know the situation. If it was on a keepered estate or on a poultry type farm leaving someones ferret their could be a reall annoyance to the landowner. If we ever loose one we make sure someone is there all the time if there is poultry near by

Just looking to see if any kind person would take me lamping in half term. I am going to stay at my uncles for a week in Bornemouth and was wondering if anyone would fancy a night out. I wont have any dogs or anything but dont think I will manage a week without any form of rabbiting. If anyone fancies it I can meet them in Bournemouth. Cheers

Go back and leave a peice of paper on the burrie with your phone number on. If they want the gear back then they can get it. But personally, anyone who runs off and leavs the ferret to it doesnt deserve them.

Not really. Because if someone is doing a good job on land nad have gotton used to the layout boundries etc then its alot less hassle for landowner to keep you on. I know for one that any farmer down here wouldnt kick you off for someone else just because you didnt give em a drink at christmas

My opinions haven't changed, because no-one has provided any data to persuade me to change my mind. The Flaming issue was with culling.
