This obviously doesnt apply to all of us but we need to clean up our act guys, we are all hunters so we DO NOT need to disagree over everything as hunting is not a competion!!! So I say here to a clean start and NO messing around, arguing etc. all the bad on here will I expect be given zero tolerance from here onwards and I think it was entirely unfair for all the good on this site to be punished today by having this wonderful facility for us. I never get much trouble down here, just one fellow which lets us ferret but no shooting. I got another big big big farm on the moors permission today, well over 5,6000 acres. But its a shame there arent hundreds of rabbits in each acre lol. But there are 2 tors packed with ground sets etc but you have to get the weather just right else they wont shift

I was thinking of getting rubber rings as I have a dvd to show me how to do it then, where would I get the rings from? and a twister?

Does anyone have about 25-30 rubber ring grommits and a twister to twist the with? I need one as Im planning on buying sheet netting, 15 poles of dowelling from B&Q and rigging my own quickset. so any help apprieciated

yes. ask him and see what he said. If hes a good friend then Im sure he would give it to you for the sport. Also if you dont touch it the farmer may look elsewhere for his pest controll. Just a thought

well done for getting some money for the materials etc. My old friend (hes about ) said when he was about 30ish he set about 100 snares in a few fields the next day he got back and nothing to be seen... then the farmer said that he saw someone going round before he arrived, picking up all the catch lmao. He was soo pissed off but the farmer said that he thought that he had sent someone to do it as he couldnt. And there wasnt a chance that they didnt catch as he was a very experienced guy. Im going out to learn some stuff off him snaring wise soon. cant wait
