    Yay Ive managed, to make my first 4 rows of my hemp net, after alot of time trying ive finally workied out I wasnt double knotting and was all slipping! lmao. Im stupid, anyway, now I should be able to make my own nets, which will save me a bob or 2, does anyone know the cost for spun nylon?
  11. I always chuck in a peice of liver at the end of the day, it goes down a treat but make sure you feed it through the box or you literally lob it in as ive been bit once as they dont care what they are biting, liver or finger lmao. Nice one mate
  12. apparently MK3 collars work with MK1, so I have just got another ferret, so I need another collar and if patterdale took box, rob took collar, depending on price i may be able to have the extra collar
  13. cheers mate, shes a nice little jill, we were doing a spot of ferreting around the shooting range the other day, on temple, not that close but close enough, also PM me when your out with the hawks when im welcome to come as i will get my 21 year old friend to come as well. Cheers for the ferret and i will probably breed her next year if she serves me well this season. She will probably be out this weekend so we shall see. Also next year if she is bred you are welome to any of my kits as i will have 3 or 4 jills to be bred

  18. fox living by the same rules as the badger? well as most people know the badger is currently vastly over populated and causing a number of problems for people from many walks of life (and if the fox wasnt controlled it would do the same) and is currently undergoing a cull in wales, i belive prevention is better than cure. i do agree with you in terms of the way a fox is shot is important and dont believe any hunter should leave a wounded animal if at all possible BUT we see things from a different angle on the reasons for controlling fox, its not just a case of livestock or game bird preserva
