  1. mate, if you are after a traditional net, i dont know much but can tell you what those 2 are, on a traditional you have hazel poles (or fiberglass) usually 5 yard apart. On each end, to keep everything tight, you have 2 metal end pins, this is kind of a gian washer on a strong metal pole, not very long. You can also collect your net on this. The grommits, as far as I know are for the quickset nets. These are usualy a rubber type ring, which goes tight on the pole fixing the top and bottom line in place, stopping it from slipping or sliding. I dont personally know anyone which uses grommits on
  2. just smack it on your smallest jill, usually, if you have a load of ferrets in a burry, they will go on a kill together, so if your lucky you will get an 8ft collar on the kill aswell. I dont understand how to do it either, as i have the same situation with one of my collars
  3. well done guys. looks like you had a goodun, i went and olnly got 6, but we shall have a thread up tomorrow eve
  4. Sorry mate, didn't go on PC and get your post till just now. Got back about 4 0'clock. But I would have been the one with the two piss wet through lurchers! Went to the opening meet, it wasn't the best. Might put a pic up of today later if I get chance. Cheers, D. I will meet you at one, I went ferreting today i instead.
  5. But mate, this is what pisses me off (im 14) and because of twats which go around stabbing each other, i am not legally alowed a knife, for hunting purposes, so if this guy was stupid enough to shoot someone else, then why should it be taken out on people which most probably havent done anything wrong, and wont do. So I think that you most probably need to stop being so superior as you arent much older edited to add this- Young people between 14 and 17. If you are between 14 and 17 years old, you can be given or lent an airgun or ammunition but you cannot buy or hire them yourself.
  6. congrats Poley. Well done mate, and hope the mother and daughter are doing great!
  7. Out with the foxhounds at Fernacre tomorrow, get yourself over there if you can to watch the trail hunt. Cheers, D. I was going to ride out but I am going ferreting instead lmao. Might go out in a bit though

  11. Jazz, no offence, but are you 100% lay obiding? i bet 99% of the air gunners on here were using air rifles on thier own before the correct age. I admit i did, and do. so step off your high horse mate as i dont think you are much older yourself. No offence to anyone intended

hunting wise, a mouchers tale is supposed to be good. and I enjoy all of the 'dick francis' novels.
  15. shouldnt be too hard if it is already a stable, just put some mats down or something and put a kennel in a corner. Im sure it will be doable
  16. I dont see why not, IMO cats are very overrated lmao, i mean, not many people care about killing a rabbit, so why not a cat. They piss me off anyway tbh. I have shot one or 2 before, but with guns more than cabable of the job
