I have always found, enter the ferrets as soon as nets are set, so collar them up when you arrive at the permission or before you set off. Leave the flask for lunch and chuck your ferrets in quick so you give them a suprise. Also, if it was really really really wet ground then they may have been flooded out and moved off for a few days or been disturbed by something and shifted

you just need to get them used to the collars mate. Once they have had them on a few trips they will realize how wide they are. I have a derby tweed flatcap, and i love it lol

It depends who im with, if im on my own, then just nets sometimes dogs depending who else comes. But When im with my mate Ant, then he shoots over quite a bit with a 12 bore.

yes mate. Our old huntsman has just left, and have a new guy which i dont know very well just yet. But I always got on with the old one. I will get down there at some point as i know a few working that way, and what do you mean by skin the od horse?

i think, the mk3m collars turn themselves off magnetically, unlike the normal ones which need batteries taking out. Also, i think you can scan them to turn the collars off. and also they are waterproof -

but the thing is mackem, i started because i wanted to try it. And I only ever smoke say once every month or so. So not alot. Just when its real cold on the moor. But recently i havent had any money for it so havent smoked in a long time haha

I was just wondering how the huntsman learns to play the horn. Does he teach himself or does he get lessons off someone. Also, if any guys off here will be following North Cornwall Hunt tomorrow at the old inn, St Breward. then give me a PM and i will come and say hi. wouldnt mind meeting a few more people off here
