thats what i thought, common is just a way of renting it to farmers, you have to have commoners rights to graze cattle etc on it.

well there is here, there are 2 main landowners on the moor, they own ALL common land, just rent it to the commoners so i understand

just ask for ferreting with nets, and say in return you will help with shearing in the summer, or beating if its an estate in the winter. I know quite a few farmers through dad and they dont mind what we do, but if you start off with nets, and gain trust, and show him dogs guns etc. Then he might become a friend. Perhaps invite him out to come and shoot over the ferrets etc.

Load of crap you go up to a counter with your book and they mark off when you got a packet of six and the batteries are out of sight in drawers ,But why make your self out a thief for under £4 ?????? I have never done it mate, but someone who i got a collar off said it works, i dont really think its thieving if they are there to take

right, someone told me that if you go to your local hospital, go to the ear and throat bit. and in the waiting room they have a table with a load of hearing aid batteries on, all packaged and free for people with hearing aids. So just go in and pinch a couple packs. I have never tried but someone off here told me
