  1. its thenetloft.net or otherwise molecatcher off here. He is a real sound chap and all his stuff is superb quality so good luck mate
  2. Hi mate, i have had the same problem with mine. If you are in your house the MK1 will react badly to other metal interference. I had this and the minute i was out in the field it was fine again. I tend not to use the locator whilst ferreting barbed wire hedges, as the interference kicks in immediatly. Try them both out when your away from the house etc and see how it works out mate
  3. Im so sorry for everyone involved, please send my best wishes to the family... It will spoil christmas for them and if there is a god he is f*****g harsh at times. RIP
  4. just get em, i did. And then she will see how nice they are.
  5. are thet still allowed to do it even when they sleep Lucky b*****d Victor is, I reckon we should all move to Australia
  6. not really sleeping, but if my terrier is swimming, and you pick him up when its cold water, his legs will keep moving like he is slow motion swimming is funny to watch and he does it until you put him back in
  7. I cant see why rolling it up would be a problem tbh, it would be more compact surely? If you are longnetting quick and efficiently you collect on pins, as then there is no tangles, and it is alot easier to run out and in. and it has less contact with the floor
  8. PM me guys and i will get the mate to get in touch, i dont have a clue about it really lol.
  9. Hi all, My mate has a lightforce striker here for sale, he said it has a belt battery pack with 2 batteries on it. In good condition and was wanting to swap it for some ferreting gear. Preferably MK1 ferret finder setup. But anything considered. PM me if you are interested and i can ask him for more details. It will be posted. Also, would swap for longnets. Will sell around the 100 pound mark, will go lower if need be
  10. just part the pelt from the skin, about half way across, pull it up, cut in half, and then pull both ends. Head should come off easily if you put the effort in, and then all you need to do is break the legs.
  11. No offence to you mate either but you are not a farmer you are still at school, i can actually see the point for breeding some rabbits for a bit of sport if he say only puts down 20 say and leaves them for a season and the farmer allows him to then there no reason why he shouldnt i have grown up on a farm, and would call myself it as i put alot of time into working on different farms, and will always know alot more than kids like you. It is known that rabbits are uncontrollable and should deffinately be bred and released, and if this farmer is happy and wanting someone to release rabbits,

  13. mate, rabbits survive as it is and on a 1000 acre farm, next summer the rabbits will be imense. You will find it real hard to keep the numbers down unless you put yourself into the job like a pestcontroller.
  14. OPINEL mate, they are a good cheap, but reliable and good quality french knife. Can pick up a No. 12 for about a tenner.
  15. no offence mate, but as a farmer, i dont see why you would want to release and breed wild rabbits, unless it is sport. In this financial climate the rabbits are costing the farmers alot of money on crop and land damage etc. But each to thier own, and yes you could do that with a longnet, or just ask a local ferreter
  16. I will give it a try on our farm.
  17. Everytime i read your posts Brimmer, i always think 'why the hell does he LIKE TO DIG???' but each to thier own. If i can move on quick with a ferret that will either bolt and not kill or bolt and kill and move on, then its good enough for me
  18. good luck mate, your bags increase on every post, so well done mate is that your personal best mate?
  19. My mum always thought it meant 'lots of love' so she would send us texts like, 'sorry its raining but you will have to walk home from the bus, LOL mum.' used to piss us off everytime as we thought she was laughing about us getting wet haha
  20. Hi all, I have a polecat jill here for sale, nice little animal but on the smaller side. Will do someone proud out in the field, and has a good temperment. Was looking for a tenner to the right WORKING home. But if its a youngster setting out, i can sort them out with it. Send me a PM and i will text some pictures
