My first lamp was one of these,,,the problem with them is the battery doesnt last long and its built into the lamp itself so ya arm starts to ache after a while,,,All I did was take the lamp apart remove the battery,,make a hole in the bottom of the lamp casing so you can run some longer power cables from the lamps original battery connectors down and connect to a higher powered battery....make em long enough so you can sit the battery in your pocket,,,,Your not gonna get the same quality as the proper hunting lamps but it does the job and doesnt cost an arm and a leg :thumbs:

Suppose it should do to some extent,,,what type a lamp is it??is it originally intended for lamping/Hunting or is it just one of them ones you buy from a DIY shop for about £15?(does it have the battery built inside the lamp)
