    he needs to try a few out first,but you wont go wrong with AA & HW

    hi you need to take out the two grub screws on top of the bolt housing,then you need to remove the 6 bolts from the housing,remove the housing turn it over and undo the small grub screw there,if it still dose not budge,use some heat as it may be loctite on the shim.

    the SR12 ret on CG is very similar to the MTC ret,i have been using it on my HW100 for a number of years with out fail,just make sure you do the range work to to calibrate.

    i started with .22,went on to purchase .177 for HFT i currently own .177 & .22 for me its about shot placement,your quarry is not going to be bothered which calibre you are using as long as its in the right place

    I also have both,both very accurate! But I do picked up my HW100 a lot recently more than the AA,but that is just due to a minor problem I need to address.both great rifles but I have to be honest the HW gets the edge. Oh! Both are .177
