Yeah he’s decent, and a hammer I know what you mean about Lisowski, but every time he does an interview he seems a nice fella
-
On way back from the hammers earlier and they had this at Stratford *No idea how you upload photos the right way round
-
That’s East Ham ain’t it mate? Looks like High Street North East Ham Southall one of the biggest khazi’s down South
-
McGuire started well against Murphy. I didn’t know there was bad blood between them
-
I just think it’s really hard to get a balance of decent football and results with mid table squads as the type of player (technical / workhorse) is different, which is why only Brighton in that mini league stand out. I do agree that when it’s bad over there it’s bad and I’ll probably regret going tomorrow as well get spanked
-
I don’t think Ten Haag is doing an amazing job. Spurs must’ve had 9 or 10 managers in 10 years since Redknapp, they’re playing decent stuff now, albeit they’re still moaning he has them playing too high. What I’m trying to say is, we should be careful what we wish for in getting rid of Moyes. A fancy European manager and cash injection doesn’t always work. In my opinion, there’s 8 teams that should finish ahead of us (City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, Utd, Spurs, Villa). We’re in the 9th to 14th mini league and apart from Brighton, possibly Fulham, the football th

I’m dreading tomorrow mate. I can’t see us winning again this season with what’s going on off the field. City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Villa for me
-
Token flight mate. It won’t be enough to act as a deterrent for illegals. More a voters distraction. A load of illegal gurus have reviewed the bill and said it leaves us exposed to litigation - loads of claims which will clog up the courts
-
I just look at Man Utd, Tottenham, Chelsea etc the last few years and Pellegrini a few seasons back I do think Steidten will have a bit of pull in attracting a manager
-
I’m a bit torn on the whole Moyes situation. I can’t fault what he’s done the past few years - waited 39 years for a trophy! In some ways I actually think he’s overachieved with the squad, only Paqueta, Kudus, Alvarez and Bowen are top players who’d get in a top 8 side It’s similar to the Allardyce days, when it’s bad it’s f*cling bad as he’s no plan b. Who do we get in though? We seem to be heavily linked to Julien Lopetegui, but he never seems to stay anywhere long
-
Instincts mate. A bit like thoughts, you can’t choose them they just appear! From what you’ve described I think you’ve done a good thing - saved a geezer and 2 girls from getting hurt, prevented someone’s boozer getting wrecked and restored peace so everyone could get back to what they were doing pre-fight. It’s what the old bill or a doorman would do, so what’s the difference if it’s Joe Public? You’ll always have some f*cker say you shouldn’t have interfered, but if that was my daughter and someone stepped in to save her getting hurt I’d be grateful

True, it always seem to tilt that way. I just think it’s an underrated sport. I used to play a lot but never seem to make any progress. Other sports you put effort in and can see yourself develop… maybe I was just sh*te Neil Robertson? I think he failed to qualify this year mate. A few of the old faces are there, with a new crop of Chinese I went to Ally Pally once and found it too intense and a bit boring - definitely one for the old armchair
-
I can’t see Fury pulling out given the money involved. Based on that press conference the other week, he seemed to be in a good place and up for it
-
I’m surprised he’s never won sports personality of the year for what he’s achieved. McGuire looked good the other night
-
Anyone following the snooker? Sullivan for his 8th title?
-
We’re taught to be ashamed of our English heritage
-
I can’t see any real correlation between those stats and league position I think the next 4 games are key for him
-
You’re spot on regarding the human behaviour mate We live in a multicultural world but have wars due to the differing characteristics of different cultures. Yet morons think you can import these different characteristics and cultures without importing a problem of interpersonal and social conflict
-
We’ve played Arsenal 3 times this year and beat them twice though mate? We’ve also beat Chelsea, Tottenham, Man Utd, got 4 points of Brighton and a draw with Newcastle. That’s a good return and proof his style can be effective Ignoring the worldie from Rice they were fcuk ups - 2 set plays, penalty etc. Even the best get spanked - in recent years Leicester have put 5 and Everton 4 against Guardiola, Villa put 7 past Klopp’s Liverpool. When you at Moyes reign, he’s done a solid job. i think you have to be careful what you wish for and i don’t see an alternative if we want to be a top
-
i can’t see how multiculturalism will ever work. The more they force it you end up with hatred and ethnic factions I wouldn’t say I hate Muslims, I just don’t want to live among them and have to understand their culture, believes, etc to “integrate”
-
Slough, Luton, Leicester and Bradford are the 4 big areas I believe. The Indians don’t get on with the Pakistani’s, as for Albanians, they’ve taken over where I used to live in Barking and seem to be taking over large Turkish areas in North London
-
Definitely a Muslim majority. Slough, Hayes, West Drayton, Southall - literally no white people We’re looking at moving back to Essex, and I was thinking Epping - they’re housing them in hotels there
-
I get that, but how can Moyes be blamed for players not jumping for a header etc? The press is all about Moyes and not players
