    Took my beddy bitch to vet said she needed a operation on her ears took her in went and picked her up later on said they couldent find out and tried to give is a bill for £900 quid.

    All my collars have bells on there spot on when ferreting rough undergrowth can't see the fert but can hear them.

    I use a falconers vest loads of pockets for nets and all the other crap we carry about with us, perhaps to many looked all over a couple of months ago for me 3 collars couldent find them so bought 3 more last week decided to take all the nets and crap out me vest what did a find in a little pocket 3 collars, got six now.

    All my 3 have been car sick but just kept taken them on small journeys and building up to longer ones they all got over it and can travel any were now.

    Decided to get a viper nitesite as I am doing a lot of bunny control on golf courses stopped the ferreting because of all the young about. So now it's out with the aa 510, viper was delivered yesterday so couldent wait to get out last night takes no setting up but it does take a while to get used to shooting looking at the screen but once that sorted this bit of kit is brilliant the rabbits on the course I was on last night are very lamp shy even with filter on but with this they don't even no your there.

    I've got a bit perm your way a couple of paddocks that surround a quarry been a few times and have not been able to get near holes for undergrowth and it never shifted.

    Same as mate,vast majority of our permission is in Cheshire and numbers are well down saw no sign of myxi through summer whilst walking the land so its not that,as you say its disheartening putting 50+ nets on to bolt one or two ,wont be throwing the towel in though Haven't even bothered putting nets down last few times been out just let the ferrets work down hedge rows flushing what's in for dog doing full hedges to flush 1 rabbit not much fun a lot of the undergrowth hasent even died back this year av got bloody roses out in me front garden think a might give it one more season to see what

    This has got to be one of the worst season for the lack of rabbits on my permissions also the ones that were about have never stopped breeding good for next year hopefully stopped ferreting a couple of weeks ago doesent seem a even got started were has all the cold weather gone went out last night to a golf course with the lamp and air gun all a seen was young rabbits glad it's over hope it's better next year.

    I have a bedlington terrier bitch been plagued with ear problems all her life got told same thing off vet long ears yet have a beddy dog and he has never had any probs.

    Well done mate you can't beet it out tomorro night in the borders on a golf course lamping with the air rifle ferreted it a couple of weeks ago but it was blowing a hooly, rain was coming down horizontally and the buggers didint want to shift so going to show them a bit lead.
