    Wouldn't feed un frozen rabbit mine got tape worm of it always freeze it for a couple of weeks now to kill any cysts. My 3 get wormed every 3 month.

    Has any body found collie crosses to clever some times, I mean if they think they don't have much chance on a rabbit won't chase it or just go through the motions. The fields were I take mine are bordered by a nursery with a fence around it and the bunnies come through the fence into the fields soon as they see the dog they just nip back through the fence to safety, the dog seems to no now that she has no chance of catching them and will stand looking at them to see if there are any a bit further out in the field she has a chance at I have 2 bedlington terriers and they chase out seem to thin

    My 3 get trout all the time I boil it then just take the back bone out they love it. I give it to them a couple of times a week.

    Had 3 jils plus the hob in the same court last year they all had there kitts in separate parts of the court then after a couple of days they moved them all together the 3 Jill's all looked after them the big old hob never bothered them but he used to sleep away from them when they got a couple of weeks old they all slept together ended up with 23 healthy kitts.

    Allright John, Maggie funnily enough is usually ok with puppies but her odd ways have been a bit of a problem lately Skycat and chalkwarren have come through with some sound advice and it seems to be working. I wont have another half kelpie bred dog though it will have to be 3/4. She is hard work. The pup will be kenneled eventually with Bob and it wont be exercised with the lurcher and her mate.     Had a trip to Derwent today fished from 8 till 1 took 8 trout and returned 4 not a bad 4 hours and the weather was glorious .

    Started mine of by making her jump the back gate to get to her food then when she was out small fences she would jump but if she could find away around them she would never forced her but then 1 day she jumped a fence after a rabbit and that was it she will jump any fence now I have the opposit problem she doesn't like walls probably because we hardly ever come across them were we go.

    I had a walk along a local sand dune last week end with the dog got there early morn and there was absolutely hundreds of rabbits must have walked for about a mile and it was hard work for the amount of holes a had 3 dogs with me and they only managed to get 3 rabbits as they were never a couple of foot from a hole to disappear down there were holes right down onto the beach wouldn't like to ferret it god knowes how deep they are in the sand.

    This used to happen quite a lot when I raced greyhounds I found the quickest way to get them back on the track was a visit o the vet get the web cleaned up sometimes cut back if it kept happening then stitched up.

    You never no Keith it may lead to better things and at least you have ferret food a had meg out the smorning and got 2 plus a duck and a visit to the vet with jack. Atb john.

    Got mine off eBay from this guy 10nelson2000( 60) 6oz 50yd for £95 first class net .

    I find it a first class bit of kit agree overpriced but always puts me right on top of the ferret and rabbit .
