We use a plastic mesh type one! real strong as we have used the cloth ones but are no use at all, not sure of the make though..

we dock lambs with rings, my local vet will do the terriers with a gun licence but i like to tell him what length because most vets do them far to short. A he charges about £12 each..

Beagle x or springer x terrier would be my choice! they hunt like hell, me mate had one called chaz great dog to.
