  1. cracking pup mate, you wil have to keep the updates coming, ian
  2. head shots, all the time, usually its only the 1/2 grown that jump all over the place, when you take there head of,usually with the 22 rimmy, and not very often at all if you use an hmr, larger bunnies tend to just drop on the spot, but the 1/2s are good entertainment, after a head shot, body shooting is normally a waste of a rabbit, unless you just use the back end meat, ian
  3. you want to get down the local farms now, dont wait till, you think your ready, get land ,get practice, learn the job,its not a black art, helps if you have an experienced chap with you,but peeps wont be out with the ferts for a wee while yet,ime still shooting,as are most,ok,ian
  4. i cover a fair bit of land when out so like the jeep, only use the lamp for n/vision over the wall, when out of the jeep, mainly for shooting though,i do tend to walk when we go out with the dogs, just getting to be an old lazy bugger,ha ha ha

  14. welcome to the club mate ,you wont go wrong with a cz the .22 is one of the best bunnie tools on the market,if you fancy a go at the bunnies drop me a pm,just might be able to sort a night out for you, plenty bunnies ok,ian i live up beside woodga,ok
  15. £35 quid,could nearly buy a new cluson for that,robbing twats,for a bit of chinese tat,ian
  16. might be ticks,if they turn dark, thats them, you had the ferts out, mainly catch them in sheep areas, best removed with tick remover tool,ok,ian but might be wrong
  17. and no,i dont hit everything i aim at,either with the .22 or the mystical flat(my arse)shooting hmr,ok,ian
  18. head shots all the way, thats why we use scopes on our rifles so you can see where to shoot, christ body shooting at 50 100 yds, of a rest,me thinks some peeps need some practice, head shot miss, healthy bunnie for next time, cocked up body shot suffering bunny, down the set,not nice, would rather miss than take body shots, but thats just my view, makes it a bit more sporting, well thats my take on it any way,ian
  19. maybe look at the add on set ups, they are good on an air rifle,ok,ian
  20. looks like the main prob with young uns comeing on is they are a bit lasy, wanting everything easy as,the same question keep comeing back all the time, they never bother to read through the forums, most probs are caused by just going out and getting a fert or whatever, without doing any homework on the subject,my fert bite, can i feed meat ,my dog poops, how do i shoot a rabbit,i want some land to take my dog to.or shoot on,i want some nets, etc etc, we could maybe provide a sticky section with a variety of the most common, questions,we take young uns out often with the ferts, but lads of years standi
  21. thats a big problem, lot of peeps,oh i shot all my bunnies at xx yds last night, paced it out, bolloks,xx yds turns out to be about 30 yds max,lot different at night on the lamp, especially when useing a little gun mounted lamp, with a filter on,few shocks in store when they actually laser range them selves,50 yds seems miles on a lamp depending on its power of course, all the fun of the fair, must be in a bitchy mood the day,ian
  22. been useing a clulite for about 4 years now,for shooting and dogs, not a single prob,on all night, just went and bought a second one last week, customer service is spot on,buying a lamp at them prices then have to rewire it,cos its cheap crap wireing, you should all send em back for replacement then they might do a proper job on them, looks like the typical deben shite, vastly over priced, fkin hell its like buying a gun with no trigger or expecting the barrel to fall of if you fart, well thats my two penneth worth ,oki doki, ian
