I listen to and enjoy Boom radio. Mostly oldies, however now and again they play new stuff from 80s and 90s. 60s music is still the best though.

Hi, I don't advise cleaning a .22lr barrel unless its started shooting off, ( I have had an uncleaned .22lr rifle for years without cleaning and its spot on ). So would be firing more shots to dirty the barrel, after ensuring the mod thread and barrel thread is clean and well tightened. Try shooting more shots without cleaning. You could find that you need adjust your scope to suit a new zero. Fingers crossed. Alan.

Hi, What size are the Deerhunter ones please. Alan.

Try SGA or SACS. Both offer insurance and much more, at around the same price.
-
That's a bargain price. As said, x2 is still decent.

Shooting/rifles/shotguns Rules In The Uk
owdnorthener replied to Frechie52's topic in Deer Stalking & Management
Hi, If you look under, Sporting Rifles on here, then to Rimfire, Centrefire and shotguns, then Frequently asked questions and scenarios I'm sure you will find many of the answers you are looking for. I used this to assist me when I needed information to complete my own firearms cert and have directed people new to shooting to it when they are searching for the same info. Good luck. Alan -

Hi, I'll see if I can get any up later .... as I've never done it before.. But if you google "deerhunter pacha" and it will let you see the camo pattern and pocket details. Alan

"Pacha" jacket in innovation camo. Size is 176, which I believe is about a 16yr old or perhaps smaller or medium adults. I have just purchased it second hand, but its too small for me, so I am passing it on for £32.00 posted ( I paid £35.00 posted ) and new it retails at around £60. It had three very small holes/plucks whch I have now repaired so can hardly be seen Alan

I have used various Eley on the indoor range and after buying myself a brno as well, I got hold of some cci subs and some cci standard. Both great in the brno bolt action, but the ruger 10/22 keeps jamming with the standards. I save the subs for the brno on the farm, May try some remmingtons .... I had some last year and they were fine too. The ruger is clean as are the mags ..... just doesnt like cci standards. ( I do like the price of £25 per 500 though, but no good if they jam )

Where are you located ?

OFFER WITHDRAWN. HI, I am after a BSA Sweet .22 telescopic sight or a good pigeon magnet ...... must be complete and (sorry) not home made. It must be in very good condition and am prepared to swap my ruger 10.22 butler creek folding stock, which comes complete with an Ultra 635nm laser fitted, with the switch being fixed under the stock. The outfit is good used condition and as I now have fitted a wooden stock to this can now go. Thanks for looking, Regards

New shotgun holder in Fife
owdnorthener replied to k9delboy's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Hi Del, I was in the same boat a while ago and went alone to Cluny to practice ..... it took a while for things to gel, but I did improve. It just takes a while, then you'll have more confidence and skill when it comes to shooting pigeons. If you fancy visiting cluny sometime and would like company, then Pm me and we can arrange something. ( its normally quiet just before lunch time, if you can make that ? ) regards Alan -
Hi and welcome, You dont say what area you are in ..... I am also new to pigeon shooting and in a similar position, but by reading earlier posts on this site you may find a good guide in your area or if you are very lucky someone will offer to take you out and show the ropes. Good luck to you, Regards Alan

Nice one Ade.

Hi, I dont know if these would be ok for shooting, but from tomorrow Aldi are selling " Anglers neoprene 100% waterproof gloves" at £ 4.99 a pair. They have a split foldback thumb and forefinger. They could be worth a look. regards

I have just emailed Counrtside Alliance to pass on my concerns about this. I now await a response. I am fed up of the " Lets Ban everything we dont either want to do or understand " brigade. If airguns were to be banned then the yobs will keep theirs hidden and only the law abiders will submit once more to powers that be and either hand theirs in or register for a licence. One day a qualification for government will be to have common sense .... I dont suppose I will be around then though. Ah well Monday morning and my rant is over ... for now. Have a good one, Regards
