  1. Wouldn’t be bred for lamping really , when ever this breed comes up people think about speaking on the lamp , there used for day time hunting a lot in wales , got family there few lads use them , yes Andrew edwards hunting the hill or on YouTube , there not your regular chilled lurchers to keep need a alot of walking and work to keep happy
  2. I had mine done in animal transport was pricy up very good bit of kit
  3. Some times it’s not down to the dog it’s the ground , dog can be best dog in the world but still miss if the ground is terrible
  4. I’m good mate , I enjoy myself ? run along buddy
  5. Feck um , many dog can take double figures hares on the lamp in a through the season , my seasons September to March , don’t intend to be live my some code ?
  6. Easy kill 2/3 on a nights lamping then 2/3 in the day only trips out and when it’s literally behind my house not hard
  7. Easy done around here mate , quiet chomping away , just a coursing bred mate nice animal
  8. I can take 5/6 a week through the season most weeks done double figures , not every hare takes you around the bloke that’s with other stuff thrown in
  9. Mate … you talk utter waffle , I’d have a bald dog with pink spots aslong as it did the job , and no one would care about your litter if you didn’t keep banging on how good the sire and dam are when the sire just stopped being a pup himself never mind a great worker ?
  10. I’m don’t run them for the sake of it mate I go out have a couple and go home nothing to prove ?
  11. That’s what I run with my current runner fella , there’s 100s hares in my area and some big old fields
  12. Iv two , one elderly ones 4 , I need a pup really to bring on but got such a peaceful dog life at moment I’m struggling to take the drive
  13. A lurcher can take a lot of work , these lads with 4/5 runners is crazy no way are they giving them all enough work , one coming on , on worker and one nearly retired it’s the best way 2/3 dogs in there prime or coming on you can’t be giving them the work load
  14. If you’ve got loads game any dog can look great , it’s when there’s not a lot there and they still find when you know you’ve got a good un
  15. Don’t believe in catch and realise If you don’t want it dead don’t run it , simple as Find it rather crazy seen videos of people digging foxes and what not to just let run ? Your there for pest control no other reason and letting you dog take a beating risking its life to let it go ,
  16. Never had problem with a stock , just make the part of the scenery we see horse cows and sheep on every walk , more or less usually get one chase at around 13-16 months old they get corrected and good to go , current worker hasn’t ever chased a sheep seen her jump them in middle of a course
  17. If people only took rabbits and rats there be no need for bullx ? or Salukis really ? Easiest way to pick a pup is let the kids pick it
  18. How fast are those 1/4? I’m toying with the idea
  19. I personally thinks it’s done , another 10/15 years running dogs will be either muzzled or a ban of dogs off the lead , some areas lurchers and terriers are part of the scenery and not rare to see hounds kicking about but others well you can’t walk down the street with a running dog , tides turned I think you will be able to hunt in the massively rural areas but other than that pretty fecked
  20. Better than Mchull and bangers and mash
  21. Iv thought this , I had a litter plan in my head of a bitch of mine realising only I would want a pup , shifting the rest would be a pain
